    Fabulous

This is a big terraced house, not far from the city. You can easily walk. Parking is a big tight, but there is a pay and display literally yards away with free parking overnight. The owner (Ali) is very well organised. If he cant meet you at the the house when you arrive, you just give him a call and the keys will be in a little safe on the front door. The property is very lived in! But its very clean and everything works. Don't forget to bring your own towel! Excellent value!!

    Fabulous

You'll need a phone to check in - luckily we had this but were a bit surprised by it. The person at the other end of the line was very thorough and helpful with his instructions. It's a house divided into rooms with shared kitchen/bathroom facilities. Everything was a bit shabby but overall clean. Neighbors were a bit noisy late at night but otherwise the room was cozy and spacious. Nice to have access to the kitchen and no problems with hot water. It's up a bunch of steps from the center.

It was a pleasantstay in Inverness, but the facilities in the apartment are old- there is no sign of renovation as promised. Also there was no hot water and no heating due to problems with the boiler.

I will start with the positives: bed linen and bathroom were clean. Location prime. Negatives: very basic accommodation for which we were prepared. No soundproof at all, old furniture and equipment. Ok for very short stay, i wouldn't stay for a second sleep.

Be prepared for everything: the frontyard of the house is a mess. You have to call somebody to be instructed in order to get the keys. The place needs to be refurbished (painted, equipped with kitchenware and furniture). The smell within is weird, other guests can access floors where they are not staying. After this first shock, I must admit that the place is clean (bathrooms and rooms). Doors need to be repaired (really make noise).

The host was not very friendly... Coming to our room at late night to collect money, and charging us 6% to pay on our credit card. The place was not well looked after... It lacked care for the rooms and halls... The heating system as not working.... I feel like simple things could make the place more welcoming.... . Little signs on the door with the room number, instead of writing the number with pen on the door . the carpet is super dirty, maybe take it off and leave a wooden floor . ect

From previous reviews we were prepared for something rather cheap (low price so it was OK), we had quite a shock when we arrived. Bear in mind that you will be alone in the house with other guests all the time, the locks are quite loose and almost anyone could get the keys to the house. Card payments are probably never accepted and this was mentioned in a rather dishonest way. Notices are written with marker pens and there is duct tape everywhere, creepy experience in general. Good location.

We did not see the staff (the host was nice by voice - phone), the boiler was broken (there was a shower with hot water upstairs), all room was full of dust, just bedlinen was clean. The hamper was broken and also the beds were squeky.

Bed sheets / room fairly clean, person collecting the rent friendly. Positives stop there. There's no-one around so does not feel safe. Guest next door was smoking unashamedly, stinking up the corridor. Kitchen cupboards / microwave filthy with age old grease. Floors mopped but sticky with built up cleaning materials. Downstairs bathroom and kitchen seemed refurbished, don't touch upstairs. Impression of the place: Duct-tape instead of refurbishment, hall carpet like a dead dog's fur, avoid.
