Super friendly and helpful staff who helped me with my bags up the stairs to my room. You have to make your own bed and take the linen down to reception when you leave. The room was cold, apparently with no heating. The bathroom was lovely and clean. I was only there for one night so I didn’t use the kitchen / lounge.

Friendly and helpful staff with the best dog ever, but the bathrooms (showers specifically) were sub-par and needed much more attention. You can’t beat the location though, with the bus stop less than a minute’s walk away.

Hostel was well located to bus and train stations, good sized kitchen and common room. Bathrooms quite smelly and need checking/cleaning more frequently throughout the day. Staff were friendly and welcoming. My bunk was comfortable but I felt every movement from the person above me.

For the location (right next to the bus main station) and price it is fine! The cleanliness wasn’t that great and the rooms are very small for the amount of beds. The staff was very friendly, and for the one night I stayed it was good.

Creaking doors, beds, floors so loud you can't sleep. The mattresses are paper thin, bumpy and old. The bathrooms and showers have zero air circulation. The place is basically on its last legs and should be half the price. This place needs major renovations. The only benefit is its location but Inverness is small anyhow.

Te staff was really nice, but i would not recommend this hostel. The building was messy and it was dirty everywhere. There was mold in the shower which was so much...that you could even see it in the shower where the light was not working. There were only sinks in the toilets, where toilet paper was missing. Overall a dirty, messy hostel. Which is a shame because it has potential. Reception is from 8:00-23:00. We wanted to check out and nobody was there. So we slid our key under the door.

The facility smelt like weed, when walking on the floor I felt like I was going to fall through it. The bed was uncomfortable and I am pretty sure I got bed bugs from it. Did not have a good experience, thankfully I was only there for 2 nights.

The hostel wasn't very clean or tidy. From two ovens only one "half worked", burning the top and not heating from below at all. The toaster only toasted from one side each. The kitchen was supposed to close from 10.30pm - 8am (same for the reception) but it was still closed until 9.10 am when last night's shift came in and opened the door for us. We would have left much earlier if we did not have perishable groceries and freeze packs in there. The regular shift "overslept, sorry". Never again!

If there was a way to select zeros for atmosphere, cleanliness, value for money and facilities, I would select it in a heartbeat. The only good thing was the location - very close to both the bus and train stations. The place is not one I would recommend to anyone. There was black mould in all the toilet rooms/shower rooms, the bedroom was filthy, there was food under the bed, dust bunnies everywhere and we weren’t sure if they even changed the sheets. Please do not stay here.
