Great location, very friendly staff and marvelous Bistro (with dancing chef). Plus now there are brand new showers and very well equipped kitchen for tourists, who want to cook on their own.

Hostel is very nice. You stay here is you are in the West Highland Way or if you have a car. It was a bit low in atmosphere when I was there but staff was amazingly kind

Rooms are teeny tiny but otherwise it’s awesome. Staff are great. Hot tub was a nice surprise. Hiking from here is the best. Would go back, for sure.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating as I arrived early. Location a bit tough to get to at the end of a day’s trek. Only bit of a drawback really is no lounge area, but I was spoiled from the Rowardennan Youth Hostel from the previous day.

Wonderful little find! We came here to break a journey up to the highlands. The hostel is lovely, All the staff were approachable and friendly. We only stayed one night, this gave us the opportunity to have a little wonder around ( a loop walk going down the the lake ) we had dinner that night and breakfast the following morning. Food was great! The rooms were clean and cosy only minor issue with them is they are below the communal so you can hear people above you if your an early sleeper.

The self catering arrangements needs to be improved. Shareing cooking areas with staff members is not a great ideal. There living area was not at all clean ,fridge busting with there food ,dirty pots every where cooker needed a good clean . Not a nice experience at all.

Over priced drinks, rooms way to small.Great location. They have a monopoly on the area which they take advantage of.I slept in my car because rooms were way to small, and shower facilities in with people going to toilet. Not for me,hoped i would be in Stirling, and not of the beaten track a good few miles away.

I had high hopes for this place, but it was not to be. Generally dirty and smelly, the rooms were excessively cramped and the washing facilities poor. The single female toilet and shower is a particularly foolish design first thing in the morning, when the queue stretched down the corridor! Self-catering facilities were awkward and not part of the bunkhouse itself. The upstairs bar area seemed nice and had a reasonable selection of food and drink. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Lavatory and shower facilities filthy leaky and smelly ( I know there had been water shortages but no excisefor blocked drains). Some staff not quite with it very slow to help not much effort at understanding trying other languages WiFi didn’t work ( staff confirmed it rarely did and was rubbish) Very expensive to get a beer - bit of a rip off when there’s no where else to go. Should have been a great place lovely location and good idea. Long haul up the hill to get there
