Very secure hostel really close to the main center of Dublin. Just slight from center so sleeping isn’t terribly disturbed. Some rooms are right next to the rail so be warned and maybe bring ear plugs in case. Breakfast is unlimited coffee, juice and toast, so nothing fancy but it’s something at least! The hostel was super helpful for directions, airport transfers, and offered links to many tours and things to do in Dublin. Next to a charming art cafe!

Nice location. Good atmosphere. Breakfast is small but free! Only complaint is the flooring in the upper floors are old and squeaky so not ideal for light sleepers but other than that amazing hostel!

The nice helpful staff and sauna access made up for creaky floors, beds and smelly bathrooms.

Mixed feelings. Good location and the basement area with its arches is cute. The door hinges on the showers and toilets need repair on a number of stalls. The shower cuts out every 5 seconds - you have to keep pressing the button. The showers are all very pokey, with little room to change. There is no elevator, so you have haul your bags up to the 3rd floor. The 'Free breakfast' is just cereal, bread, coffee, OJ.

The location is great!! Otherwise not the best hostel. The floors are SOOO loud you can hear everyone walking in the room, outside and above you. The beds are extremely squeaky and when anyone in the room moves at night you all wake up from the noise. Also it’s located next to a train station so that’s an added layer of noise. It also had a window we couldn’t close or it’d be too hot. The WiFi was the worst!! We had to go to nearby restaurant for service. There are also no locked in the room.

Good location- but that was the best thing going for it. Only a few of the staff were friendly and approachable. Also have to it for luggage storage and no secure lockers provided in the dorms :/

Not the worst but I wouldn’t go back. Good: generally fairly clean, free breakfast was okay, internal security quite good. Bad: no social atmosphere, lady working the desk was incredibly unhelpful, wifi was out for 24 hours, floors and beds are very loud with movement, beds are small (about 6’ and I’m 6’3), it’s in a bit of a dangerous and stabby part of town. Overall it’s better than sleeping on the street, but not by much

Never again! The walls are paper thin and you hear doors slamming deep into the night & people talking loudly in the next room early in the morning. The bed spread wasn't big enough either, so i kept awakening with my legs or my backside uncovered & cold. The afternoon desk guy was helpful and friendly. But the overnight guy was NOT. He gave bad, vague directions to a late night restaurant then told me to go get a room at a different hostel around the corner when I came back & asked again.

The staff was super rude acting like it was the end of the world when anyone had a question . My room smelled like something had died in it, but at least it was cleaner than the bathrooms that had hair and grime spread from floor to ceiling. Least social hostel ever. My room also backed up to the train tracks so super loud! Really terrible experience.
