The only bad thing I can say is that our room was located right underneath the metro, but other than that noise every once in a while it was a lovely stay!

Isaacs hostel was a great stay! The atmosphere was friendly and chill. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the staff was superb! If you are a light sleeper, trains do come by right outside the window but it didn't bother me much. A short walk to major attractions such as temple bar yet still outside the really busy area. Isaacs is a great option!

    Fabulous

Overall this was a decent hostel, although a bit loud and busy for my preferences. There were enough minor issues that I probably would stay elsewhere next time I’m in Dublin. Lockers are available ($) for bag storage, but we opted not to use them as they’re down several flights of stairs in a musty basement. The showers were small, not hot, and required me to push a button every 15 sec. for water. Not many outlets, uncomfortable beds, and lots of loud coming/going from pub crawlers.

Isaacs Hostel does not have lockers in the bedroom. Each room has a card to open the door but actually is not safe to leave your cell phone, for example, inside the bedroom when you are not there. In addition, you do not have enough plugs for the people of your bedroom. You have to bring your own triple plug to charge your mobile phone, etc. The breakfast is ok. It is 10 min walking from the Temple Bar and is cool because the Airport Bus is 2 min walking from the hostel.

Very clean. Family rather than party hostel. Showers are awful (you have to press the button every five seconds, no exaggeration). Very central.

    Fabulous

This hostel is huge and it feels crazy and hectic all the time. My room had no storage lockers at all, and just the main overhead light - no bed lights, which means someone turns the light on each time them come in. Breakfast was okay, though the area was kind of small I thought, for all the people staying. I also did not like that it was kind of down a little alley way instead of on the main road. Beside the train station, which is why I stayed here, but noisy because of that as well.

I arrived on the 8th, payed about €23 a night, left the hotel next day and came back 2 days later, to pay €66 per night, they claimed rooms are more expensive on the weekends! Really? I stayed there because I felt safe, staff was really nice, and they have a secure locker room. They also have a shuttle bus service to airport.

The room was sortof loud and smelly. The Showers you have to push a button the whole time to keep the water running. There is a train running by right outside. There are no free lockers overnight. There was no plug by my bed.
