Jacob's Inn is an amazing place that I would 100% recommend. I stayed in a 10 person female only dorm and the pods were sparkling clean and cozy. There was a bathroom that was in the room that was equally as clean and looked brand new. The staff was amazing and helpful. They also offer a guest bar crawl for a really good price that includes a free shot at each bar. Overall is a fun and welcoming place that I definitely will need to visit again.

This was my first hostel experience and let me tell you, I was super impressed! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The lobby was really beautiful and clean, you immediately felt comfortable there. And I really loved the sleeping pods! They were super cosy and gave me a feeling of privacy. The location was outstanding as well, the Temple Bar was in walking distance. You really get the best for your money, I can highly recommend this hostel and would stay here again.

Super convenient, great breakfast, lovely staff - had a small challenge with one of the shared female showers on the first floor.. The one nearest the window wasn’t working - I just forgot to say to one of your lovely reception folks - I’m sure they’d have it sorted in no time....,)!

The hostel is good for a couple of nights for a 10 bed room but a week could be too much. Awesome bar and live music, receptionists are mostly nice and helpful. Security is great with codes to go in. Staying with 9 other people all beds touching each other means you need earplugs. Also, you need not to be to tall or have a few kilos over. I could only sleep sideways knees on chest and was waking up when needing to change side. Overall a wonderful hostel though for short stays.

We stayed here during a trip to Dublin during the 6 Nations. The hostel was clean and the communal areas were great. The bar was slightly expensive for a hostel however the atmosphere was great! This was my first time staying in a capsule, and it worked great - we would recommend more mirrors in the rooms (we were a group of 8 girls!) but otherwise great stay! Thanks!

I was initially a little worried as there was quite loud music playing in the bar when we checked in (around 9-10pm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find the rooms very quiet! I loved the pod beds, USB charging and lockers in the room. We got great recommendations in reception. The sights of Dublin were all walkable.

We didn’t enjoy the strict late entrance rules to get back into the hostel after hours. The staff were not very nice about asking for the code and asking for your booking . For us, the over done security measures dampened our hostel experience and you Jacobs Inn should consider a more relaxed approach to security.

Staff member walked into our private room in the middle of the night for some unknown reason. Another room was also continously blasting music until 6am. Other than that the location was good the rooms clean and the beds comfy.
