Really excellent place to stay in Dublin! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the facilities are nice and clean, and the lockers in the rooms were big enough that I could fit my carryon bag inside along with my backpack, which never happens! Only complaint is that the pods do get a little hot inside overnight, which makes sense since they are enclosed.

Absolutely fanatic place to say! The staff were so welcoming and good fun and always had a smile on their faces. It was easy to check in and the accommodation was clean and the beds were very comfy. The best part though has to be the bar/restaurant area, such a lovely vibe and brilliant mix of friendly people. Live music, great food and coffee. The Guinness was good too! Definitely do the pub crawl as that is great fun and great value for money, the walking tour is good too.

Jacob's Inn was fantastic. The rooms are great, with the pod style beds providing your own little sanctuary. They're really strict about security, and they provide lockers with all the beds, with plenty of space to store all your stuff. I did feel the breakfast was very overpriced. The atmosphere also wasn't great - there is no real lounge area or place to meet other travelers, other than your room. The pub crawl was great, though, and partnered with other hostels so there was plenty of people.

Security and location were fantastic. Loved the privacy of the beds and the ensuite bathrooms in the dorm rooms. Main problem was that the beds were visibly dirty, with stains on the sheets and dirt on the bed.

Unique hostel with capsule style beds that give more privacy. Bathrooms generally were clean. Padlocks not required since all doors/lockers use a combination lock. Location was decent: right next to Connolly station but if you're more into walking, it's about a +20min. walk to city centre. Can't say much for atmosphere since the hostel doesn't host their own events however the lobby bar seemed pretty busy and lively. Overall if you're just staying a few days in Dublin, a decent stay.
