Jaguar House is a lovely hostel with a very chilled vibe. The dorm beds are comfy and the rooms spacious. The hostel is clean and the showers warm. The staff are very friendly. Like in all hostels in SA, the kitchen was not that appealing to use and the tea towels smelt, but fine to prepare a basic meal / sandwich. I would recommend this hostel to all!

The little gem of a hostel made you feel so at ease and the courtyard area was a great place to chill with other people. We had a lovely few days relaxing here. The location provides you with everything you need, ATMs, large supermarket, restaurants, parks etc just around the corner and is close to the main square and markets. The breakfast was really nice, different every day which makes a change from always egg or jam on toast!

Good hostel in a quiet neighbourhood, but short walking distance away from restaurants and everything else you need. All facilities were good. There wasn't much atmosphere, but the hostel was very quiet when I was there, so it might change for high season. There's not much security, because the doors are open all day, so basically anybody can just walk in. But you have lockers in the dorms, so if you have a padlock, you should be fine.

They need to improve their bathrooms, asap. Upper beds in the 6 bedrooms have no stairs, what make very difficult to climb it. They also need better wifi. Ladies in reception are very helpful.

Breakfast was good as long as your not gluten intolerant or vegan, they had a well equipped kitchen so could cook meals later in the day. Showers were hot, WiFi not so good, good location, not really an atmosphere but it was quiet when we were there... Could be cheaper but so could all other hostels in cochabamba. Staff told us wrong bus time by half an hour so missed the last bus so need to update the bus times in the hostel folder.
