Fantastic stay at camping jolly. Stayed here with my parents who are over 60 and they loved it. Incredible cabin for 3 with an en-suite and amazing shower! Convenient having the shuttle to and from Venice island and a shuttle to the airport to save the hassle of finding public transport to get there. Would’ve been great to have a kettle in the room but you can make do with the coffee vending machines and restaurant/cafe. Would definitely stay again.

Best hostel we’ve stayed at in Italy so far and probably won’t get better than that. It is a trek to Venice but they provide a cheap and consistent bus service every day. There’s a supermarket, great laundry service, awesome pool area and a decent restaurant. The rooms were really clean, shower was always hot and if you’re travelling alone it would be easy to meet people in the pool/restaurant area.

Overall it was a great stay. The cabins are slowly getting renovated which is good as they are a little rundown, old and creaky at times. However, our stay was still very pleasant and the facilities are fantastic, such as washing, drying and a shuttle bus to Venice. The restaurant offers a really good menu, everything is quite modern and the mini market is full of everything you need.

A good place for an affordable pleasant visit to Venice. The shuttle bus to the canal boats dropped at the same place as the local bus about a 400 metre walk with no signs at all. A diagram with the shuttle ticket would be helpful. The pool looked great but opened too late and closed too early for anyone who went into Venice for the day. Restaurant is good. On site supermarket is good. Hours for these are fine.

My major complaint, from the point of view of a backpacker, is that compared to the majority of Hostels I've stayed in this place doesn't have kitchen facilities so you can cook your own food. Counter-balance it has a great very clean pool. The staff were great, but this place caters mostly to tourists from other parts of Italy and so I found the place's clients were less friendly than other places I've been staying in all over Europe. The restaurant bar and the shop was okay prices a bit steep

I had a good stay at Plus Camping Jolly. I stayed in a bungalow which was nice to have some privacy. It was quite old, the curtain rail fell off and so did the door handle however it was clean and had a/c which is all you need for a shorty stay in budget accommodation. The only major downfall for me was the camp ground wasn’t located in the best area unfortunately. When walking to and from the public bus I felt quite unsafe so I would recommend using the shuttle bus when possible.

Good alternative to more expensive accommodation. Not close to Venice at all, but there is a reasonably priced shuttle bus or public transport within walking distance. No kitchen facilities which was annoying, but there is a reasonably priced restaurant on site. Nice pool facilities and a good little mini supermarket. The bathrooms in the shared dorm were nice, with a good shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful :)

The self contained units have no facilities. If you are travelling by the bus or tram it is very difficult to get there as the nearest stop is about a mile away

An older, drunk man tried to come into our room claiming that he was staying there, he said he was just going to the bar and would be back. He never did come back but made my female room mate and me feel very nervous and unsafe. Anyone can walk on to the property, no lockers in the rooms. No kitchen facilities, decent restaurant on site. Good cheap transport into Venice and staff were friendly.

Don't bother with this hostel unless it's summer and you just want pool & party. Not suitable for travelers wanting to see Venice. Getting there from San Marco Square took almost 2 hours: waterbus, local bus, then 1.3km walk. It was loud with drunken revelry at night & the cabin was so small that everything was wet with condensation in the morning & there were only 2 people, although there's room for 3. WiFi only works near bar & reception. No kitchen & nowhere except outside to sit.
