Absolutely incredible hostel. The atmosphere of the place is awesome. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Went to vic falls on the free shuttle and out for drinks with a bunch of people from the hostel. The staff are great, super friendly and helpful. I’ve travelled all over the world and this is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Was there for 4 nights but wish I was there longer. Everyone spoke English too.

Food on site was a little pricey but they have a kitchen if you’re on budget. They have a travel desk but this was the most disappointing part. I asked for information but they handed me a book. I wanted them to explain an activity and she read from the book. Reception and bar staff was incredible

Great rooms, amazing and incredibly helpful staff, and excellent food and beverage options at the bar. My only complaint is the very weak wifi in the communal areas - but it's not the worst thing to disconnect for a few days somewhere as beautiful as Victoria Falls. I'll certainly stay again if I return to Livingstone.

Wonderful place to stay! The staff was great - they upgraded me from a dorm to a private room without any extra cost, and they were very helpful in suggesting activities for my limited time in Livingstone. The kitchen accommodates dietary restrictions, which is nice. Just remember to bring mosquito repellant, as there are mosquitos EVERYWHERE; not much the hostel can do about that though.

Jolly Boys is a fantastic hostel and I would recommend to anyone visiting Livingstone! From the free shuttle service to Victoria Falls, to the incredibly welcoming staff and delicious food there is very little I could fault Jolly Boys on. Also who cares if the WiFi isn't working all the time - you're on holiday - enjoy your surroundings!

This is a great place to stay in Livingstone. Very social, friendly bar/restaurant area, but the sleeping areas are very quiet for a good nights rest. My private room was clean and really nice. I met a lot of fun people here, and the free shuttle to Victoria Falls was quite convenient. Also recommend the Sunset Cruise along the Zambezi that the hostel staff can organize for you. Great place overall!

Jolly Boys was overall an enjoyable hostel to stay at. My only complaint would be the self-catering kitchen. The stove burners didn’t work well, if at all. Also, the cutlery and cookware could use some replenishing as there’s mostly only plastic cutlery and no real knives for chopping or preparing food. I recommend spending the $5-$10 to get a SIM card and data in town because the WiFi signal is weak and doesn’t always work.

Jollyboys was a great place to stay. The staff was super friendly, especially Moyo. My only complaint was that they showers had zero water pressure and the temperature was hard to control. The wifi also wasn’t the best. All that being said, I would definitely stay here again.

It is a solid hostel with good food and atmosphere. Toilet paper and bathrooms could be slightly cleaner but compared to other places in Africa it was above average.
