A very clean hostel with a great breakfast. The wifi could use some improvement as it appears there is only a single access point at the reception desk so signal is very weak in the rooms and even weak in the breakfast area.

This hostel was very nice. Very spacious and clean. There are opportunities for a lot of activities and the workers are very nice. It is not a party hostel, it is very calm and peaceful. The only downside would be that you can only check-in during a specific timeframe and check-out is very early. Other than that, it was a great stay. Bad Ischl is a great small town.

Great place and location. Very nice rooms. Only problem was just one outlet in a room for 4. Also no wifi but they are in the process of setting it up. They have free breakfast and ping pong for guests. Overall, great place.

This hostel is really great if you need some space, and some time to just chill out. They have a great patio and two lounge-type rooms that were always empty, so it was extremely relaxing. Breakfast was also a bonus! The one thing is that both times I was there, they were hosting some type of group function, so there were loud groups of people around at night.

    Fabulous

The hostel was clean and breakfast was really good, nice view from the room, but it was so empty, maybe because it wasn't high season, can't say for sure. The wifi didn't work in rooms, only in the lobby and toilet light was annoying, I had do constantly move to make its sensors "see" me. Otherwise it was fine

checkin time is too short (5pm-7pm) on weekends, which is quite inconvenient. So avoid going on weekends

At first, I couldn't find the hostel, but I finally saw a small sign that pointed me there. Google maps had told me I had to cross a creek, which I didn't need to. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and breakfast was pretty good. The hostel is in a good location - close to shops and the Kaiser Villa.

Good hostel to base yourself to look around the lakes. Around 10 mins walk to bus/train station. The free breakfast is amazing bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt ect. Fairly annoying check in hours though and no kitchen. Also this is a YHA so no social really, more families and older folks

The wierdest place ever, with the wierdest reception, breakfast and check out time. Really useful to visit the Salzkammergut, but the your regular hostel... There are families with young kids?! You can!'t bring your own food either... But, it is very clean and well sotuated, close to the train station. Go there if you want to visit the region and don't mind a wierd hostel!
