The hostel facilities and staff is really good. Don't miss out on the breakfast, one of the best I've had in a German hostel. But the property is around 2 KMS away from the central train station and there are very few buses so be prepared to walk a little bit. Overall, really good place to stay!

Really nice hostel with lovely staff. One of the best 'free' hostel breakfasts I've had, A good 20-25 minute walk to the old town which isn't so good in winter with no public transport links, but other than that I can highly recommend!

Impressed by the design and comprehensive facilities. So nice not to have doors banging all night and to be segregated according to type of occupant. There were large groups of children staying, but we heard nothing whilst in our rooms. Meals were plentiful and tasty and we loved the large salad bar. Noticed cobwebs over tops of ground floor lights and in top corners of our room, but otherwise place seemed clean.

It was low season during my stay. It's a really big place to try and fill with 8 guests so I basically saw nobody else. But still a nice place though!

More of a family hostel than a "youth hostel". I was the only person in my room as everyone else seemed to have a private room. The hostel was full of noisy kids, which was unexpected and a little irritating. No kitchen but a nice cheap buffet dinner was offered.

Lady at the front desk was fantastic, really helpful and friendly. Downside was that the wifi doesn't work in the rooms and there weren't any power sockets near the beds. Also the woman's showers only have curtains and because this place is so massive I did see a guy exit the woman's bathroom, so not having that privacy was concerning. Breakfast was definitely amazing though, lots of options. 5 minute walk to decent sized shopping centre/supermarket. Definitely a family oriented place though.

Good breakfast. No outlets by the beds, and you had to pay to use the lockers in the rooms. Overall pretty good.

The location is fine, as Lindau is rather small, although it is a 20-30 min walk from the main station. The rooms are nice, although there were some bugs in the top corners which could've used cleaning. Breakfast was decent, and they offer a 6 euro all-you-can-eat dinner which was definitely worth it.
