Super confortable stay. Our room was half empty and only half the beds were bunks, the rest were just beds which is awesome. A little soft the mattress but was ok. The place is pretty big, cozy and gives a very rural and adorable vibe. There are live animals you can pet and feed *-* . The pool looks pretty cool eventhough we didn't used it because it was too cold. Dave, the manager was the most excentric and awesome person we met in NZ. He gave us a ride to our bus! All in all awesome stay!! :)

My favorite in NZ so far! The place is so quaint & has so many things to keep you busy in such a small town. The manager is amazing and drives you if needed. It was definitely well worth the price and it was so nice and clean. Tempted to go back.

Beautiful and relaxed hostel run by the wonderfully eccentric manager, Dave (and his lovely dog Max). Dave is a great character and runs a tight ship, with lots of great tips for travellers to the area. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect stay in Waitomo, was visiting the caves and this was a three minute drive from the caves themselves. Welcoming staff who provided warm kiwi humour as well as the opportunity to feed baby lambs in the evening. Received an upgrade to a couple room and the facilities available were ideal and clean. Would recommend to others if in the area.

receptionist Stephanie was the loveliest person ever, drove me and my friends to the village in the morning so we could be picked up by our Kiwi Experience, pool was lovely, showers and toilets very clean and well maintained, had very cosy homely feel, located right opposite black water rafting (20 min walk to main village)
