Excellent location: walking distance to Kennedy Square area, beach and clifftop route. Also close to airport express bus drop off point. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Decor and atmosphere good. Peruvian hairless dog interesting.

I loved KACLLA! I stayed a few nights in a dorm. They have a super laidback vibe and a small living room which is perfect to sit in to meet new people. The breakfast is amazing - by far the best free hostel breakfast I’ve had. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and Pisco, the hostel dog is a gem. I felt a little sad to say goodbye to this place

The hostel is well located in Miraflores and there’s a security gate allowing the staff to control who comes in so feels really safe. I took up the offer of a towel and extra blanket. The breakfast was really nice, especially the granola and the Peruvian sweet spread. The coffee was also really good. WiFi worked well for me. There’s plenty of books about Peru to read for some inspiration and sofas to read them on. I stayed for one night in September and it was really quiet, not a party hostel!

Really enjoyed my stay. Great location, close to everything but still in quieter area. My room was right by the street so it was a little loud at times but I had headphones and earplugs, so no trouble sleeping. Awesome breakfast. Can get chilly at night but I was able to get an extra blanket. Pisco the dog was a nice bonus too.

Very nice, comfortable, quiet hostel. It is clean, and the breakfast is a really delicious and healthy little meal. The only downside- while the security was good in terms of outside people getting into the hostel itself, the dorms themselves don't lock- we had another guest walk into our room a few times by accident. Not the worst thing, as there are lockers, but my first time having that experience.

We arrived late and only spent one night at KACLLA, it was short but sweet. We got the private room with shared bathroom which included the breakfast which is simple but really good! The hostel itself is very nicely decorated and the Peruvian hairless dog Pisco is probably the only cute one of its breed I’ve seen hahah

Beautiful hostel in the centre of Miraflores. Convenient for everything you might want to do in Lima. Not terribly social but a very relaxing atmosphere. Tasty breakfast and helpful staff organising airport pickups and giving tour information.

    Good

This hostel is basic. It’s an open air hostel so the main area is open to the elements. It makes the rooms quite damp and cold. Our sheets felt wet. Also because of the open roof there is a lot of street/traffic noise and birds and dogs! Rooms are basic, and in need of an update. Bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Another downside is there is no 24 hour reception so be careful if you are arriving late at night.

It looked clean but smelled. I’ve book a few nights but I didn’t stay. Maybe my expectations were too high compare with the hostel I’ve stayed in Cusco. The place looked pretty and it’s well located but it had a humid smell and I think I was very unlucky with my roomies because one of them had a towel in the room that smelled very bad, it was impregnating the room. The small living room to chill out smelled like smoky, wasn’t bad but the place had too many smells and not place to relax from them
