Kaisu was a great place to stay even though I was only there for under 24 hours. The staff were incredibly helpful, the facilities were comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect for really getting anywhere you needed. It's a great place especially if you want to stay someone thats near all the Tokyo craziness but not in the middle of it. It's an easy walk to the subway and an easy walk to Roppongi.

I loved my stay at Kaisu ☺️ it’s a really clean, well-kept place with friendly staff and a good basic breakfast included. Walking distance to several Tokyo metro stations (closest is Akasaka) and in a really safe neighbourhood so coming back late at night was no trouble. I will definitely recommend to friends visiting Tokyo!

Loved this hostel! One of the only hostels we stayed at in Japan with a social atmosphere. A nice change from the quieter hostels we stayed at before. The pods have a ton of space & a locker right in them. Also a plug & light by the bed. The staff were friendly & helped me when I lost my coat. Love love love me a free breakfast so that was a big plus.

It was a great spot in a great location. We stayed here to get ourselves accustomed to Japan, staying in hotels for the rest of the time, and this place was perfect. Thanks team!

I loved staying at Kaisu. It was the first place I stayed in Tokyo and was a very nice place to arrive at straight from the airport. The beds are very capsule-like so you get a lot of privacy and darkness to sleep. There is enough space beside your mattress to keep your bag with you, but I was never concerned about security. It's a good introduction to the shoes-off custom that you will find in many places across the country. If I wasn't so excited to explore the city I would have hung out more.

The rooms do not have USB outlets, so you need to give them a 1000yen deposit to rent a charger. Additionally there was no events in my time there and does not seem to be much of a social focus. Everything was really neat and clean though. Breakfast is really basic, just eggs and toast and no condiments.

Staff: 10/10 kind and helpful Facilities: 8/10 I would give it a 10 on cleanliness but they didn’t have bidets like the rest of Japan. Everything about the hostel itself is textbook. That said, the bar is a little pricey compared to other Tokyo hostels, and the atmosphere is just so lame. There was this mixture of a Jason Mraz/granola vibe and everything seemed so stiff. It doesn’t feel social at all. Everything else is immaculate down to the superb cleanliness and pleasant staff
