The staff was exceptionally helpful and made great daily suggestions on must see in Tokyo. Very close to subway station. Everyone understood English. The beds were the most comfortable beds In my whole month of traveling Asia. All the facilities were very clean and comfortable. The cafe and bar was a great quaint and quiet little ambiance great for conversation and a late night snack and night cap. The common area in the back was comfortable with little kitchen space.

I stayed for two nights and I enjoyed myself very much. The beds were comfortable and gave you a little extra space for your luggage. Breakfast was good and it came with one free drink which was very kind. The area was really nice and the facilities were always clean.

We had a very nice time at Kaisu hostel. The shared space / lounge was beautiful. Shiga was super friendly as were the other staff members. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and so was the room. Also the location was convenient to get to Shibuya and Shinjuku as well as Asukasa and the Tokyo station. It was however more expensive than any other hostel during our two week stay in Japan. Regardless, thanks so much!

The staff was super friendly and helpful during my stay and despite the large number of beds in my room, I had a lot of space for my things. The breakfast is pretty simple but there are lots of options nearby. The best part is hands down the location.

locates in a nice neighborhood, staffs are friendly. But it is a bit weird that the common area is a bit quiet at night time, would come back for sure tho!

    Very Good

One thing that really bothered me about this hostel was that the room I was in had no mirrors anywhere at all. The women’s bathroom was single occupancy so if you wanted to do makeup or use the mirror you had to hog the bathroom for a long time. It seems minor but is a really major design flaw and if you are someone who uses mirrors I would stay elsewhere. Otherwise the facilities were nice and clean. You can’t wear shoes in the dorm area. There is no locker for your bag, just a small one.
