Loved my stay at Kaisu! Hostel vibe was quiet but friendly, and I felt safe as a solo female traveller. I really liked the area of the hostel as well, only a few subway stops from the main sights, but a much more relaxed atmosphere than the full on vibe in some parts of Tokyo.

Friendly hostel with good dorm rooms and facilities. Some may find this place a bit compact but we thought it was great. Lots of people to make friends with. Good location and great facilities. Definitely worth a look

I spent two nights at Kaisu and it's an adorable little hostel with a great cafe. The location is just a few minutes from the train which can get you to popular spots like Shibuya in 15 minutes. The staff is so nice and helpful! The beds, showers, bathrooms, and common areas were always kept very clean. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and it was easy to meet other travelers here. Absolutely recommend.

Great deal for the price. Clean, cute and cozy. Comes with a simple breakfast (toast, jam, eggs, bananas and coffee or juice). Nice atmosphere; very relaxed. Not a very rowdy/social hostel, but it makes up for it with charm. The staff are extremely lovely and kind. One member of staff even posted a letter for me on his way home. The neighborhood is very nice too. There is a laundromat across the street and also a 7-11. Lots of cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to the nearest station.

Kaisu was a great hostel experience. Rooms were very secure and safe, with key pads for all rooms. Bathrooms were shared, guys and girls. Staff kept the bathrooms, dorms, and common rooms incredibly clean. hostel was very environmentally friendly, with trash, recycling and compost bins. Breakfast and coffee were served every morning, which were included in the price. Great time for meeting new people and nice way to start the day. Hostel location was minutes from roppongi. Highly recommended.

Simple, calm hostel with very comfortable beds. The cafe/bar area is small but was never full, so never felt overcrowded. Breakfast was basic but all our hostels were the same in that respect. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
