This Hostal is bliss and a lifesaver! I enjoyed my stay a lot. For a very! reasonable price you still got a lot of comforts. I appreciated the good mattress, that they weren't bunk beds, and the lovely roof terrace. And of course the very helpful and nice staff! I forgot important documents and cash in the hostel. First, no one stole it. The cleaning staff collected it and the owner sent it to me to another hostel. All very safe, all very easy. Thank you for the lovely stay and your kindness.

My stay at Kasa Kiwi was great! I shared a private room with my friend that I was traveling with and we felt safe and enjoyed our stay. The rootfop bar was really fun, and we also used it during the day as a patio to study and eat breakfast at! The views were great! We couldn't figure out how to get the water heater to work (with instructions from check in and the sheet in the bathroom) so we took an ice cold shower, but apparently there is a way to make it warm. We still had a great stay!

The hostel is located very close to the main square where there are quite a few shops, restaurants and a market. The rooms are quite big and it is amazing to have a normal bed and not a bunk-bed for a change. There is enough room to store your stuff and there are lockers outside. The offer quite a few tours and the staff is very friendly. Tom was very welcoming and explained everything great and into detail! I liked my stay in this hostel.

Very nice hostel! A little more quiet, mostly because people often take Spanish classes in the mornings. Kitchen was fine. Free filtered water. Showers were ok. The owner is a great guy who is always willing to help you with your trip! Has amazing tips.

Xela is a great city to visit, and this hostel is the place to stay. Dorms are nice and there's a rooftop bar. The owner is really friendly and helpful. Wish they offered breakfast.

Tom "the man who runs this hostel" gives this hostel 10/10, he is really helpful, and cares about everybody! He can make any plans with guests regarding their budget, Energy and time! And his advice made my (and others) travel The only negative thing is that they don't open the roof all the time, they just open it in evening non also in weekends! so all guests would squeeze inside the kitchen which is the only common room, no facilities during the day. The staff are great and helpful
