Located in a dormatory in the University of Glasgow, this is a simple facility with a lot of amenities for a traveler including laundry. Nearby is grocery stores, bars & museums. In early August the street was fairly quiet

Good location near the west end of town. Supermarket, restaurants, cafés, park, NextBike stand, bus stops, park, Kelvingrove Museum all nearby. The room I was originally given had not been prepared, but after a trip back to reception I was given a different room. The shared kitchen was a bit grubby when I arrived. Everything else was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Note that the reception is in Cairncross house in the same street.

Basic student room with ensuite, kitchen down the corridor. Thought £50 a night was expensive but it did the job, good location near the west end; walking to town took 30 mins

Simple accommodation, clean secure and comfortable. Decent location in the West end about a five minute stroll from Kelvingrove. Perfect for a busy couple of days in the city.

Not too bad location. Had to pick keys up from Cairncross House down the road - which it took me half an hour of wandering around to find out! Facilities in the kitchen were really useful. Not a great place to meet people, but very secure! Main complaint is the mattresses - you could feel every single spring and they weren't at all comfortable!

Just overpriced. For what if offers, I would not pay more than £30 per night. The rooms were ok, not sparkling clean but acceptable, while the kitchen had not been cleaned for at least a few days. There was rotting food everywhere on the counters. (from previous guests? students? it looked like it was a party leftover) Also, not clear when the reception is open. Location is really good. 10mins by bus to the centre or a nice 20/30 mins walk.

It's not a hostel, it's a student dorm that the uni rents out, presumably to make some extra cash. The checkin is not at the address listed There are zero amenities whatsoever (towel etc., that are available at other hostels) The common room/kitchen was a giant mess from the aftermath of a party (rotting birthday cake, 50 empty beer bottles)

THIS IS NOT A REAL HOSTEL: it is a collection of dorms owned by the University that they rent out (at high prices) for the summer. 50 GBP for a dorm room is absurd. Low security rating because my window did not close. Location is fine - less than 15min taxi ride to bus station etc. Staff were fine but the front desk is all the way down the street. This was not specified anywhere and was extremely confusing. There was water and hair on the floor of my bathroom. I also got 2 shampoo and no soap.

We found a bug in the bed along with bugs all over the ground. The window was left open prior to our arrival letting all of them in. The location was ok but about a 15 min walk from the train station. The water was ice cold we weren’t even able to take a shower due to it. Way over priced for what it has to offer. When we arrived we were informed that there is a one person per room policy that is not listed or described on hostel world.

This was overpriced, empty student accomodation. Not a hostel. There wasn't even toilet paper in the bathroom.
