We had an amazing stay in Kenmare, and we were warmly welcomed to the hostel. The room was very comfortable and located near the main town road. Thanks so much for a lovely time!

The hostel is a beautiful, charming old house, extremely pleasant, comfortable and spotlessly clean. So pleased that I decided to visit this beautiful, vibrant town, and the hostel was a terrific, unexpected bonus.

My favorite hostel while on a 21 day trip around Ireland and Scotland... very charming! Owner and staff were very welcoming to our group that included a guide dog for the blind. I looked forward to getting up in the morning to have tea in the quaint, warm kitchen! Lots of extras like tea and biscuits for guest etc.

    Fabulous

The hostel was very central and had great access. Generous with time spent at the hostel, access to kitchen, with some staples supplied free of charge. My only gripe would be that the room I had was right beside the communal bathrooms and nothing, nothing was left to the imagination. A sign on that bedroom door, to say it’s NOT the toilet may help. Quite frightening having people during the night trying to get into your room.

A nice little hostel at the end of the high street. Breakfast is basic (toast only) but included. Facilities are a bit old and include showers in a communal room with just a curtain to change behind. Clean though.

    Very Good

I this is more of a guest house then as a hostel, wouldn't recommend for solo travellers looking to socialise. The location is great, though street parking only. 7pm latest check in is ridiculous. Staff member wasn't the friendliest at check in and then she was gone, no mention of who to contact once reception was closed in case of emergency. No one to ask how to hire a towel - also surprised towels weren't included in our private room price. Too many rules that make you feel like a child.
