It's only a block away from King's Cross station and on a busy street, so be prepared for noise. Newly remodeled showers and toilets are very nice. The larger dorm rooms feel a little cramped, but not overly so.

The location is great, the building has a newer feel that other hostels in the area. No breakfast but there is a a deal at a cafe one minute away for a reduced price. No towels to rent, only to buy. Nobody wants to carry wet towels in their luggage. There was a huge argument in my dorm over the light being turned on at 10.39 which almost turned violent. It appears a lot of people stay here long term and are working. Most hostels have a zero tolerance policy for anti social behavior.

The location is amazing but we had a few issues. We stayed at a 3-person room with a private bathroom. We had lots of problems with the hot water. After one of us had a shower (10 min shower) the rest got only freaking cold water. It was a pain to coordinate shower time during our stay. We complained and they said it was going to be fixed but it wasn't. The allogen bulbs in the bathroom were all dead but one. Also, there were no common areas available or kitchen.

Stayed in a 16-person female room from 3-6May 2019. Pros: The girls in the room were respectfully quiet. The toilets and bathrooms were clean. The room was warm. And it’s cheap & in a good location. Reception was helpful. Cons: It was noisy outside ALL NIGHT, with cars and ambulances zooming past. My locker’s locking mechanism doesn’t work. The room felt dusty.

Although the staff and location were GREAT, the room itself was NOT worth the cost!!

Our door was left open all night by our dorm buddies and the staff were not that approachable. Location was fabulous but that's all.

The hostel is in a great location very close to kings cross station and other amenities but do not expect to stay in a very clean room. When we entered we found a lot of old tissue down the side of the bed, the smell of mould hits you as soon as you open the door, one window was stuck shut and the other only opened a little bit, one window didn’t have a blind on it which was an issue as it faced onto other peoples flats so no privacy. we found a rat trap under the bed. Staff unhelpful

We stayed in this hostel for one night in a private ensuite room. Unfortunately it was nothing like the pictures. The room had obviously not been cared for and there was not even a hook for coats. I had asked to hire a towel but was informed there were none available but there may or may not be a delivery later that evening. After asking again later I was then informed there were no towels and to make do. Very disappointed with the room. Would not recommend

It was really bad. The rooms were very dirty. The shower was crooked and you couldn't adjust the temperature. The toilet seat was also crooked. There was a homeless man sleeping in the lobby every night. The floor was crooked. Our rooms were the tiniest I've ever slept in. It smelled really bad after a while. It rained through the room. There was a false fire alarm in the middle of the night that scared the whole hostel. It was one of the worst hostel experiences I've ever had.
