I loved this place, wonderful location. Great staff, they even let me rent a adapter when I couldn't find mine. I am actually planning on moving back over to this hostel now! Love them.

Good clean hostel with friendly, helpful staff. The large communal area was great. Close to a lovely bakery with the most delicious donuts. Would stay there again

Very good hostel! Food bath in the common area is a very nice touch, and I really liked how ‘Japanese style’ everything was. The night shift guy at the counter was very helpful when answering our questions about sumo. A good idea for the hostel management be to give him a night off and pay him a sumo ticket, since he never went before and therefor couldn’t answer some of our questions. Every bunk had some practical details like hooks and clothing hangers + more than enough plugs! Would go again

Very nice hostel and location wasn’t too bad from the places I wanted to see on the east side plus there’s a JR not too far from the hostel!

Good clean hostel. Nearby to station and eateries. Staff were nice and stored our baggage as we arrived earlier then check in allowing us to go out to explore. Would recommend and would stay again.

It was a good stay. Nothing memorable but good. Clean, nice kitchen, not very social and location is a bit far from everything.

It was a nice stay, we were met by the sweetest staff. Though you had to pay 50 yen for a towel. The room smelled the whole time we stayed there, and the beds were not the same. The top beds were really nice and comfy, but the bottom beds were really hard and not comfortable. The common area was really big, and the kitchen was so nice, it had everything. One of the staff members was so nice, he helped us with which train we should take when we left the hostel, he even printed it out to us.

Great value for the money. There wasn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity, but it was right off the train station and the staff is very helpful in suggestions. Staff also offered calligraphy and culture classes in evenings. Sometimes the other roomies didn’t lock the door so that was the only security issue. We also had to stay inside one day For a typhoon and I wish the staff had made a general safety announcement, but it was a fun place to hunker down! Great common area!

    Very Good

    20 Nov 2019
Please put the same effort into making the hostel practical and convenient as into making it look Japanese. There is little space to put anything, so everybody sleeps with their backpacks and belongings. The nightstand board barely fits a phone. Bedside lamps are so bright that they light up the entire room. Security lockers don’t even fit a laptop. Other guests were mostly old men that were super loud at night and kept turning on their lights. Overall, not good for sleeping. However very clean.
