Definitely stay here if you’re planning on doing Ha Giang! Amazing hospitality, the staff were very warm and kind, and helped us figure out everything for the loop.

It was great and the tour guide was awesome! Showed me a sweet waterfall there. I got a private room because I’d ridden from Hanoi that day and it was exceptional!

A good place to crash before/after the Ha Giang loop. We stayed in the twin room which was large and clean. The ensuite is not a separate room but a section separated by a frosted glass wall which was a bit weird. The place has nice, chill vibes

Stayed here for a night to have a private room after doing to loop. The hostel was super quiet, we didn't encounter any other guests. The beds were comfy and everything was clean enough. Staff didn't go above and beyond, but were helpful. Would recommend if you are looking for a low key place before or after the loop. Definitely a good price for a private room.

OK, but hotel across the street provides more genuine answers on questions (e.g. don’t say “here” if I ask for recommended restaurants), has better rooms and rents out motorbikes. English proficiency can be improved.

Don't get the super high ratings for here, I mean it's not a bad hostel and I'd probably stay a night again but objectively scores poorly compared to the rest of our trip. Staff were polite enough but check in was near non existent, with no information provided at all. No lockers we could see within the room to store a small bag was also strange for a hostel but overall it was a decent enough stay for one night.
