My stay at Kim was amazing! She can fix anything for you; trips, scooters, food and so forth. Great hospitable atmosphere and real 'family' feeling as you can join family dinner in the evening. Also, house was clean and cozy. Kim is well connected, knows her stuff and can help and assist in many ways. Highly recommended!

I had a great time staying in Kims Homestay. This place was clean and convenient. The price was affordable and this hostel offered everything a tourist need while traveling. The host was extremely friendly and generous to introduce me different places to visit in Vietnam and Vietnamese culture. The warm welcome I received from Kims Homestay made me feel at home. I hope I can visit Vietnam and Kims Homestay again in the near future.

Loved Kim’s Homestay. The rooms were clean, large and the air con was very good considering it was 44c outside! She was so nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Plus Ben the puppy was a delight. The family meal was very tasty and great to see how the locals eat. Would recommended to anyone wanting a friendly, nice and very cheap place to stay.

Kim runs an awesome homestay and is always willing to give you directions or a helping hand whenever you need one. Although the homestay is a little bit out of the city of Hue we found that it was quite close to the Imperial City and other attractions. Kim also organised a day tour of Hue for us which we loved. The accommodation was nothing fancy but did the job and was incredible value for money. We also had a great time interaction with Kim and her kids which really gave the stay a homey feel.

Room was good and it is incredibly cheap with breakfast and dinner which is great. However location was very far from main area and using taxis/bikes to get everywhere adds up. Hostel owner has very sweet children but her three year old kept coming into our room and banging on the door even at night. Not the best atmosphere or time overall but if you're not bothered and just want a comfy bed and cheap stay it is fine.

The owner was nice and very helpful, her English is good, she gave us tips for your trip which was great. She cooked dinner for us on the second night, it was real good :) On the other hand the room wasn’t clean at all, bed sheets were dirty, there were dead bugs on the walls, hairs on the floor and dust in the corners, the water in the bathroom wouldn’t evacuate properly because it was blocked with hairs... so unfortunately we didn’t feel comfortable.

Make sure you let them know if you’ll be arriving late. Their “24/7 reception” is really only upon request. When I arrived quite late I was unable to check in as there was no one at the desk. I tried calling but still no answer and was forced to find another place to stay. Maybe not such a bad thing. Front gate and door were left unlocked and open, and with no one at reception obviously thats not very secure. The front desk area was also very messy and unwelcoming. They refused to refund deposit

Water was cold. I had inch thick mould growing around my window will which looked directly at a wall. You could tell bedroom and bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Homestay is very far out of city and not much support given for activity ideas etc. Family is very nice though just needs a bit more cleaning

We were disappointed with this accommodation. The homestay was a 40-45 minutes walk away from the main town. As we walked through, there were piles of dust and rubbish in the corridor and urine outside the bedroom. Inside the bedroom, the beds had not been cleaned, there was hair and stains on the sheets and there was a used sanitary pad on the hook in the bathroom. We asked the lady to clean while we were out but she only mopped the urine.
