Really friendly staff. The room and facilities were super clean and well taken care of. Only issue was my room wasn't properly heated - stayed just one night and wasn't uncomfortable. (Also learned that it was apparently just my room)

Had a nice stay at the hostel. Beds were fine and en-suite was great although no where to put luggage which made it difficult to move around with 8 beds. Large kitchen/dining room, breakfast was toast and coffee which was good and was pretty much right in the centre of Cork.

Wonderful bathrooms and spacious rooms. Locker situation was not ideal and more pricey then most hostels but it was available which was nice. A medium locker rental for 24 hrs was 6euro, they did have a luggage room but looked like anyone could gain access to it, especially since the front doors are not locked and front desk does not check people coming in. Short walk to city center. There is not curfew which meant it was loud and it made it hard to sleep. If you are a light sleeper - not ideal

Got a lot of bedbug bites from this location. Also the mattresses smelled a bit moldy. Lockers are $6 euro a day to rent and are not in an optimal location.

The bad: away from the happening parts of Cork, up a hill and then surprriissseee no lift! The doors don’t even open all the way, which would easily be fixed.....but instead, struggle to get in the door with all your stuff! The ‘breakfast’ is next to nothing, the kitchen is cold and dirtyyyy, and you always have to wash your own dishes. No under bunk lockers, no plug ins for your phone like other hostels. The good:........
