Had a great stay at this hostel. The room was really spacious, comfy bed, clean showers, cute lounge and free toast and jam for breakfast - can't go wrong!

Great hostel. Close to city centre. The breakfast is basic (only toast and tea/coffee) but it works. There are no lockers under the beds, but they do offer secured lockers that you pay for every 24 hours. Staff were friendly. Also have a discount for paddywaggon tours if you were considering doing one, book it through thehostel

Spacious and clean rooms with fairly comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok - just toast and jam and it's free. Lots of families and groups of children so it feels safe and comfortable but not really ideal for solo travellers looking to make friends. Great location near the centre and parking fantastic because you can park on the street outside for free within certain times. Only issue being lack of privacy in gents showers because only a glass screen. Woman showers were fine - in lockable cubicles.

Positives: Excellent location, very central. Large kitchen. Cozy and quiet. Laundry for €8 (wash and dry). Free very basic breakfast. Negatives: Cold showers with no ability to change temp of water. Kitchen supplies & oven old / kinda nasty. Floors are super loud / squeaky and you will get woken up by people coming in late or going out early. Bring earplugs! Overall would stay again.

Hostel generally fine, people don't close the door to the room which is slightly concerning. Breakfast included is bread and jam only so that's disappointing.

Good value for money. Only downside was cramped small bathroom on our floor shared between 36 beds wasn’t ideal. On check in staff didn’t ask to see any idea or confirmation. Just gave me my room and door code. Arrived back late in the evening and wasn’t asked for any proof I was staying there.

The staff didn’t ask for any proof of ID when I checked in which I thought was odd. Also the dorm that we stayed in the door wouldn’t close completely so pretty much anyone could have gotten in there had they wanted. Also there were no free lockers within the rooms. The breakfast consisted of toast, tea, and coffee. They do provide their guests with the student discount for Paddy Wagon tours which is helpful if you are not a student.

The bedsheets, comforter and pillow case were not clean and fresh (pilling and dirty). Ensuite dorm was dank and felt cramped (plus unpleasant b.o). And staff was just plain unfriendly. Never again
