Hostelworld says

The centrally located Kinlay House Dublin is just a few metres from Dublin Castle and Christchurch Cathedral, offering travellers 'a GREAT bargain', according to one Hostelworld guest. Many of our users cite the downstairs pub as a highlight of their stay here, with one of our visitors saying they 'would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone, especially students, as it is awesome and in close proximity to Temple Bar and other hopping places in Dublin', while another guest said the hostel has 'lots of people to meet but is far enough away [from Temple Bar nightlife] to be quiet at night'.

Very clean, free wifi, great location. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my group felt comfortable. The hostel offered great deals on historic tours of Dublin as well as a great bar crawl. The free breakfast consisted of bread & cereal as well as coffee.

The initial stay was great, quite hard to find the parking, and I was given a ticket that was meant to give me a discount for the parking which I tried several times every possible way that the ticket could be inserted and it still said invalid date, disappointed with that since the parking near cost the same price as the 1 night stay. Other than that the hostel was fine.

The ensuite washroom is smell The tech they use is either faulty or beyond their ability to operate The staff is alright Won't stay there again. Great location but 33 euros a bed in a smelly room is not idea of a vacation.

Atmosphere was no existant. At times I wasn't sure if I had booked a 30 dollar a night homeless shelter. I can appreciate that they get people off the street but it shouldn't be advertised as a hostel if the majority of people around are homeless. Staff were unhelpful. When asking for directions and advice I was pointed to a board of cards. Seemed there was no local knowledge. Was told the hired locker was 3 euro which I used for 2 hours then was told I had to pay for 3 per day of my stay.

Bad atmosphere, the kitchen super dirty, no so many things to cook. The kitchen close at 11 pm, the share room as well. You can't talk with people or play. I won't recommend this horrible hostel.
