The location of the hostel was perfect as its close to the GoKL free bus stop and also the Monorail station. At night there is a really good atmosphere in the area because of the street food places and also local musicians. Being close to all the action made it easy to stay out till late without worrying. Adi was really nice and helpful. On the first day, he explained everything so well that I was able to explore KL easily and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

Loved my stay at KLbackpackers.com Adi is the most welcoming host and the space is the hostel is super social yet chilled. Adi is willing to help with anything he can. Free tea and coffee, hot showers and a great location. I’ll be back when I’m next in KL. Thanks Adi!

just 1 minute walk from Lot 10 and 5 minutes from Pavillion (one of the largest shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur). there are only 6 double decker beds (12 beds in total) in the whole hostel, so it's FIRST BOOK FIRST SERVE, lol. haha... the owner runs ALMOST EVERYTHING BY HIMSELF, to maintain and keep up the service quality to his level best. a pure bred natural artist, a cartoonist (he's done a lot of cartoon animation featured on Malaysian tv channels), as well as an activist. need i say more???

Things I'd probably add: Thicker mattresses. Some comfortable bean bag chairs in the lounge. A small communal bar fridge. Things I liked: The really chilled out, friendly atmosphere. Adi's approach to people and hostelling. The showers & WiFi. Everything was clean. The great location. The laundry downstairs. Aircon in the dorms. The little balcony for hanging out. The food court right there on level 3 of the Fahrenheit 88 building. Awesome place for relaxing in KL. Definitely recommend.

Nice, quiet place. Not the most social hostel, or at least not while I was there. Facilities are fine and the whole place is very clean. Big lockers available for each bed. Staff are helpful. Overall, pretty good.

What a great staff! We felt instantly at home. We arrived by bicycle, and had a lot of stuff to carry in, and Adi came right out to help us :) we got lots of info about what to do in KL and advice for where to go during the rest of our time in Malaysia. The place is still under construction but we were very pleased and can only expect that it will be even better in the future! Laundry place downstairs was a big bonus :) and the location was fantastic as well. Thanks for a great stay!

I it is a decent if you just need a place to stay sleep at night and nothing else. There was not a great atmosphere and most of the building seemed to still be under constriction. I would say it is average at best.

The hostel is fine, but it definitely doesn't deserve the 9+ score it currently has. The dorms are clean and the staff is friendly, but most of the rest is not much to write home about. The beds are really creaky and the matresses are thin/worn out. The bathrooms are rudimentary (showerheads hanging in front of the toilet). The hangout area is small and there is zero atmosphere. All in all the hostel is fine and location is great, but a 7ish reviewscore would've been more appropriate.
