Overall experience was great, not on the security part. As a solo traveller who is only afford staying at dorms shares or moxes beds coz youll just need space to put your bags in and rest at night. My room mates where french mens who brought 2 local ladies OUTSIDER and have sex on our room. Little did I know security or the man in charge at night was not that strict whos is going in and out the property. We could just robbed or attacked by those outsiders. Its pretty scary.

A hotel standard hostel. Really clean. Great wifi. No curtains around the beds but I was on top bunk so didn’t feel too exposed. Restaurant on site that does some high quality (and therefore expensive) food. Only stayed one night so wasn’t able to properly explore the area but didn’t seem to be too much else around. Hosts really friendly. Let me hang around after checkout time and organised a taxi to take me to the airport.

I had my card blocked on arrival and had absolutely no money at all! The staff were amazing helping me get in contact with my bank and allowing me stay while I fixed my money issue. They were very attentive and couldn’t do enough to help. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Very please tell stay with recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere.

Big comfy beds but only small lockers in the 3 bed dorms. Biggest bathroom I’ve seen in a hostel in the entirety of South East Asia so far. Food is good at the hostel and the pool is great too. Be warned that this hostel is a good 20 minute walk out of the centre of Seminyak, so be prepared to walk or taxi if you want to leave the hostel.

This hostel has all you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable, the pool is refreshing, and the staff extremely friendly. The only downside i can think of is the location, which is about 20-25 min walk from city centre/restaurants/shops. Doable if you don’t mind a bit of a walk like me, but if travelling alone might be a bit far. Atmosphere may be a bit lacking as well. Everything else was wonderful. Make sure to try a smoothie bowl! Would stay here again.

When I was here this hostel was VERY quiet, which I didn’t mind but not good for meeting people. The beds were so comfortable with 2 giant pillows. Having an en-suite bathroom in a 3 bed dorm was amazing. I think it’s a school that’s quite close and can get loud in the AM so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs. Cafe was good and affordable and the pool/patio was well maintained! Onsite scooter rental is perfect since it’s a bit of a walk far from everything. Staff was great!

We had a great stay at Kosta Hostel. The rooms were cleaned daily and had a very rustic feel. The cafe which is a part of the hostel was AMAZING, great food at very affordable prices (get the Mie Goreng), and the pool area was pretty good too. Only negative was that the location was slightly out of the way, so definitely hire a scooter. Other than that a lovely hostel that is perfect for budget travellers!

Not the place to go if you want to party/a sociable hostel, however the perfect place to spend two days relaxing by the pool. Hostel staff were very helpful with booking transport to local areas, and the bedrooms were lovely!
