I would say this is absolutely a party hostel.. If you want to party, it’s perfect. If not, I’d sleep somewhere else and come here to party. Hard to get good sleep with music that loud. However, I did like it and I ended up extending my stay several nights until I finally had enough of the long nights. Huge dorms, beautiful building and pretty good breakfast. Oh, and great showers!!

The club is located in the middle of the hostel and the rooms surround the club so it is very loud. Best atmosphere on weekends. Great breakfast. Security is subpar as the entrance is no where near the reception. Even though you get a wrist band there were still people hanging out in my dorm that were staying at a different hostel.

Good location and good facilities! Our door to the dorm didn’t shut though, so not great for security or for keeping noise out. A bit of a strange atmosphere as it tended to be a lot of Bolivians partying and not many backpackers. Also the common areas become a restaurant at night so you feel awkward sitting out there and not ordering anything. We ended up switching after 2 nights.

Definitely not a party hostel .. more of a hotel hostel vibe. No common areas, there was a restaurant in the centre which made it really hard to meet people. Wifi was only in the restaurant (not rooms) so everyone just sat on their phone. Staff were rude, when we asked for tips they just pointed to the walking tour they advertised, but couldn’t even tell us it’s price. This being said, we were there during the week, but for a “party hostel” you would hope to be able to meet people any day.
