Good hostel in a great location. Staff were really helpful and arranged trips, scooters and airport transfers. Took the one day trip to Komodo Island which included a small hike up a island mountain, snorkelling (face mask and flippers provided) and a guided tour to see the Komodo Dragons. Great days out. Early start (5:30 am) and got back around 7pm. Lockers available (you'll need a padlock) and tea/coffee all day. Free pancakes at breakfast were nice too.

This was our second time staying here (so definitely good enough to return!) but it is the only hostel with a great location AND a good communal space. Ping pong, pool and seating area are great. You need to get used to using the bum gun or remembering to ask for toilet paper before you pee.. Our second stay was upstairs in fan room. window outside is onto smelly river - lots of mosquitoes. La boheme should try mosquito net over the windows? Terima kasih!

Nice enough hostel, great breakfast (with the private room) and good chill out areas. In a good location close to the town. Not the nicest bathrooms and showers but fine for a night or two.

Stayed for one night. Staff were friendly, the hostel itself was pretty. No hot water or toilet roll and couldn't get WiFi from my room, but other than that it was fine.

Please be aware that an en-suite room doesn’t exist it’s just fan or aircon and toilet/shower rooms are communal for all rooms. Rooms are basic, beds not very comfortable but the hostel itself is really nice lots of social places to sit. They also have a restaurant food is ok! Staff are lovely and helpful, they do laundry service and offer airport transfers too for 50k per car. Location is ok a short walk to the dive shops and restaurants on the main road.

Stayed here for one night after the Lombok to Flores boat trip. Nice to have a good shower here and a bed to sleep in, however there are lots of mosquitos around the hostel and check in takes close to an hour. This could easily be improved as there are often lots of staff hanging around reception. Very nice breakfast though, fresh pancakes and coffee/tea. Staff are friendly.

This hostel was the closest i’ve been to a jail cell, by far the most uncomfortable bed that I’ve ever slept in. No AC, the room smelled like feet and the mattress, well if you can even call it a mattress was a nightmare. I ended up moving to one of the hammocks to try to get some sleep but the local mosque imams decided to call for prayer over their loudspeakers at 4am. Their kitchen on the other hand was wonderful. Atmosphere in the common areas were nice too. Wouldn’t couldn’t sleep here

No toilet paper or hand soap in any of the bathrooms. One bathroom leaked water into our room and got half of the room's stuff wet. Also, A/C didn't work in the room and staff didn't respond to my question if I could pay a reduced rate, since even the fan rooms would have been better. As most people are staying briefly before taking off on a Komodo boat cruise, I found most people not socializing as most as at other hostels. At least the restaurant and common areas of the hostel were nice.
