We had a great stay at this hostel! The free breakfast was some cereal, toast and jam to put on it and they have unlimited coffee and tea always. The only downside was that our room was full of mosquitos :( Otherwise I highly recommend this hostel!

This is a very homely hostel, great location, spacious kitchen and beautiful rooftop. Staff were really nice and welcoming also. Only negative is there are only two bathrooms/toilets in the whole place so you may need to wait to shower, etc.

Overall we had a very good experience at la casa Morada. The place is super clean, there is a big kitchen ( clean as well) and the free breakfast is top ! The only black point is that there is a real problem with moskitos .. maybe the hostel could provide some plugs or mosquitos net ..

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great and even had soya milk! However, I feel like the toilet was a little bit crowded since there was only one toilet for a room of 10 beds.

Great place centrally located. The major downside was no air conditioning which is hard during the warm nights. In terms of atmosphere, the rooftop is a great way to meet people, however the hostel doesn't organize any tours or activities for guests to interact with each other which made it hard to socialize. For a quiet stay in a clean environment, this is the place for you! For a more social experience, it might not be the best. Given all of this, I would still come back to this hostel :)

It was an allright hostel but we left early, there was a man in our room whom smelled like a homeless, whenever he entered the Room it smelled like urine, s**t, alchol and just genuine dirt. Never experienced anything like this in my life, but thats not on the hostel, or is IT? Should they take responsebility for who they let stay there?

I stayed here in August so weather was hot and it was extremely HOT in the room. No fans/AC. They didn't do the best job at cleaning our rooms and I'm not someone who's picky, trust me. They said they would switch our pillow cases and sheets and they never did so we had a very sandy room and slept on sandy beds that week (#beachdays). Staff was great though! Location was good too but not in the center. Only 2 bathrooms for the entire hostel!! 2 hostels for dozens of people...imagine that.

Fantastic place if you re not into sleeping... Spending nights listening to the fascinated conversations of the people from the bar across the street... until 5 am, when the guy next door started to take a shower and the wall were so thin that I felt I was also in the shower! The state of the bathrooms were interesting for anyone willing to explore human bacterias...
