The hostel is located very close to the bus terminal in el chaltén. It is very clean, the kitchen is big and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had a really nice time there and extended our stay.

Salvador was amazing! Really knows how to treat the people staying at the hostel! Hostel had good communal space for meeting people and the beds were very comfortable. Literally over the road from the bus station so very easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again!

Really nice vibe at this hostel, met some amazing people. Staff give you a map of the trails to do which is super nice. WiFi isn’t the best but that’s in all of el Chaltén so be patient with it, or find a cafe for a day if you’re desperate for some. One thing it doesn’t have is an oven but the gas hobs are great and there are loads of pans and utensils and a fabulous recycling system! Might need some new sharp kitchen knifes though, those things can barely cut through butter :(

Great hostel with fantastic atmosphere. Hostel host is very friendly and helpful for hiking guidance. Location is fantastic - right opposite bus station. Great kitchen facilities and very friendly atmosphere. Could do with some lockers in the rooms rather than in the hallway, and the bathrooms weren't the cleanest, but otherwise great hostel

The hostel is super close to the bus station and a short walk to bars, restaurants and the starts of the trails. The staff are helpful and the atmosphere is very friendly and social. The dorm rooms are cramped, and don’t always feel clean (they would benefit from proper ventilation) and the kitchen is a nightmare to cook in, especially in the evenings.

Right by the bus station (but it means it’s quite far away from the main street). Awesome vibe and nice comfy beds. Only prons are location, smelly toilet and electric plug by my bed was annoying (had to improvise to make it stay in place and not fall). Horrible WiFi compared to other hostels. Would recommend if you want to stay close to the bus station, but not otherwise.

    Very Good

I know that my group was not the ideal customer for this hostel. It is definitely a backpacker’s/dirtbag darling’s hostel designed for those on extended trips and frugal adventuring. We appreciated a good night’s sleep and a quiet morning here. You can’t beat being across the street from the bus station if you have an early bus the next day, but even the farthest hostels are only a 15 minute walk away.

    Very Good

WiFi is pretty non existent, but welcome to El Chalten. Seemingly constant construction work. Good location for bus terminal but not for restaurants and supermarkets. Nice atmosphere and generally friendly guests and staff overall, but the kitchen is super tight and the lockers aren't big enough for bags so the rooms are messy. The staff were really helpful when Covid-19 shut the national parks down.
