La Unsha is an amazing hostel in Barranco. The rooms have comfortable beds with privacy curtains and there are plenty of bathrooms. The lobby has a TV room with Netflix, bikes, tour options, friendly receptionists, a kitchen with everything you would need from blender to wok. Large dining room seating area and biggest back yard with so many places to relax and hang out. The best part of the hostel is the owner. She really cares that you have an amazing time and will help you while in Lima

I loved my stay at La Unsha! The staff is so helpful and kind and it is a really relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, located in the coooool neighborhood of Barranco. They have everything you need - luggage storage, lockers, breakfast, bikes to rent, city maps, AMAZING hot showers, garden, big kitchen to use. Absolutely recommend!!

I loved staying at this hostel! The neighborhood of Barranco has become my favorite in Lima and I would definitely stay at La Unsha again the next time. I appreciated the comfortable and spacious common areas, which meant that the dorms were quiet. You could choose where to be based on mood. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the location was great for accessing all that the neighborhood has to offer.

Stay at La Unsha! Thanks to the super nice staff, chilled guests and friendly locals hanging out there, it has a very good vibe (like staying at a friends place). The garden and the area around the hostel make you feel like actually living in the city than rather just staying in one of the many big hostels in miraflores. It is perfectly located in barranco, Lima’s best district for food, culture & nights out. They even have bikes available. This place was definitely a highlight of my trip!

This hostel is great if you want to escape miraflores for a bit. You can walk through Barranco, which is the Boheme district. The staff is super great and it was a real homely hostel experience. The hostel was recommended to me by various travelers and it was indeed a great stay :D!

This was a quiet and chill place to stay near the principal square in Barronco. Off the main streets and in what feels like a safe neighborhood. The breakfast was great and I enjoyed the open outdoor yard area. They were making some updates while I was there, I’m sure it will just get better. I left my bag with staff here for 6 days while I went into jungle, when I returned everything was safe just how I left it. Atmosphere overall was calm. If you’re staying in Barronco, this isn’t a bad choice

Good facilities and the free breakfast is very good. Staff are helpful and friendly. When I arrived my sheets were dirty and the lady at reception changed them for me straight away. Not enough bathrooms for the number of rooms/beds.

The friendly employees where the travelers working for a free night , the receptionist(male with glasses) was acting like if he was doing us a favor to stay there, really rude which made it annoying to be there. You have a drawer locker for small items so if you want to secure your things such as backpacks you have to put them in a storage and each time have someone open it. They dont put tags or stickers on the stuff.Neighborhood is safe and close to the beach.Good breakfast and clean facilities.

    Very Good

    21 Apr 2019
I stayed here for one night and then switched over to somewhere else, which has been great. This review is not to dissuade you from a stay at La Unsha, rather I'm hoping Sandra and co can learn from my experience. It's a really nice space. Cool vibes. I liked it. I woke up early the next morning (~5:30). They told me there wouldn't be coffee until 7. So I went to shower. No hot water. And then later I went to the toilet, no toilet paper. Not a good start to my day.
