Safe clean hostel, this our second visit, the hostel is close to the town centre but in quiet location, staff were very helpful and friendly. A double room for 2 people with free breakfast and free tea and coffee all day only £26 is most definitely great value for money.

It was easy to meet new people, and the free breakfast was delicious! They even offered cheap yummy dinners. Not too far to walk to the centre. Highly recommend this place!

Overall this is a decent hostel for the money. The staff was very helpful with activities to do around the city and the free breakfast is great. The only main issue was the dorm room was pretty stinky. The hostel is also a bit far from the city centre.

I currently work at a hostel as a volunteer and I found this hostel to be not as well run, definitely not as clean and made me appreciate what we do to keep the hostels clean is so important. Also having an all-female dorm is good if possible. Boys are not as clean, and generally, snore.

The kitchen was really dirty and was a mess! The bathrooms were OK, but the common towels were nasty. The employees were very nice, though, but sometimes was hard to know who was an employee and who was not. There were very loud noises as well, during the night.

Staff hadn't cleaned the empty beds in the room, so someone else was laying my bed when I got in for the night, even though I had used the system they have to claim beds. I had to get staff to switch put on clean sheets after telling the guy he was in my bed. Breakfast, I got down before 10am, but seemly not early enough, so the staff refused to cook some of the breakfast that is included in my stay. Bathrooms are of questionable cleanliness. Never staying here again. Horrible experience.
