Spent two weeks in Lahinch surfing and exploring around. By far the best hostel experience I’ve had. Dan the hostel manager was exceptional; he showed me around and introduced me to his friends, gave me some tips on the local breaks, and it was a pleasure to hang out with him and the hostel crew! Amazing location just cross the street to the beach, drink a Guinness, cook, dance, surf! Quite affordable, safe, and clean hostel. Overall Lahinch is a hiddden gem if looking for waves and a good time

The best hostel i ever stayed. The only thing the beds are a little bit small for two persons but all at all was it beautiful. We talk with the hostel owner about surfing and at the next day we had a surf lesson (from the hostel surf school). The staff and the other guests were amazing, (thanks an Ta***ra and Se*****an). I used the kitchen to make cookies, and we had a beautiful time there. The beach are only a cat jump away and if you want to have a little rest it will be the perfect place.

Incredible Hostel! The staff was incredibly welcoming! You gotta meet the owner! Absolutely chill guy with an incredible lovely attitude! Once you get in contact with these people, you’ll get taken along to bars, Cafés, sunset watching...amazing! The facilities were actually quite clean! Hostel breakfast is served, too. The only flaw is security as there are no lockers at all. Yet, the location for beach access and sunset watching is just prime!! great value for money? Absolutely!

Great hostel, everyone is so friendly. Does seem like most are long termers so it sometimes was a bit hard to socialize but still had a great feel. Shower rooms were huge which was a nice change and beds comfy!

Clean Hostel, Great Location, super surf facilities, great staff, perfect place if you are familiar with how hostels run. Breakfast was just OK, cereal & toast. There was some noise during the night around the hostel, in the morning it was discovered a group of people had been drinking all night in the common area. This is not the managements fault. It is due to the 'Holiday Destination' associated with Lahinch.

I feel bad rating it so low b/c the staff was so nice but hostel had issues. I was here Jan and it was bitterly cold in the hostel except for my room. The microwave was broken. Only half the stove and oven worked. The dorm had only two electrical sockets and one was used by the electric heater (the radiator was broken I guess). The squishy carpet seemed like a home for mildew. No hot showers. Mattresses sucked. Springs with no tension. 1st floor door sharp metal edges. Tight space between beds

The only reason I booked this place was because it was advertised as having free parking. When we arrived there was no apparent parking for the hostel and when we asked about it the staff seemed to have no idea what we were talking about. They suggested we park on the road and 'it should be alright' however we then had to run the risk of getting a parking ticket! The WiFi was also poor and the showers were cold - overall not impressed
