I love this place, it's a hostel that is a home 🌸 The people are lovely, the staff are wonderful and the daily activities are super fun. The hostel is really clean and cozy, the stuff clean it daily and making sure everything is ok in general. The kitchen is open to everyone in the house, and there's a family dinner once a week which is superrr delicious 🌞 It's a home away from home ❤️🌈✨

There truly are not enough good things to say about this magical little fortress. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with so much warmth and kindness (even coffee). Every person who resides at Landing Pads, whether it be a week or almost a year, is an absolute joy to be around. The atmosphere is the epitome of comfort and love. The guests and staff at LP have never failed to make me, or anyone, feel less than welcome. Special shoutout to Xavier- the sweetest, most charming and skilled cleaner at LP

Landing Pads is an amazing hostel, especially for those on working holiday visas and looking for work in Melbourne! Truly one of the most friendly and welcoming hostels I have ever been in! However, for those working early jobs or that are light sleepers, it is still a hostel with people that may be up late or come into the rooms late. It is not absolutely silent, but in my opinion the perfect combination of fun and work.

I lived at landing pads for 6 weeks and had the best time. Amazing staff who help you to feel at home straight away and organise nightly socials helping you to meet people and really settle in. Kitchen is great- has everything you need from spices, tea, coffee and kitchen foil to a blender. Always felt 100% secure. Made some amazing friends in my short time here and really felt like I’d found a new home. Would recommend to anyone new to Melbourne and looking to work.

The hostel has the most friendly atmosphere of any hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Big family dinner every Wednesday is an awesome opportunity to meet people and get some free food too! Great kitchen facilities, super helpful staff and a really sociable environment.

Great stay at Landing Pads Brunswick. More of a house share than a hostel - very homely. Loved that there is a kitchen and you can cook as this saves so much money compared to other hostels with no cooking facilities. Ashley was very welcoming and a great trivia host. Have to say thank you to everyone there - especially Jess who helped me so much with my CV and job advice. Would definitely recommend staying here if on a holiday working visa looking to make friends.

Best hostel of all of Australia! Booked the hostel for a week, ended up staying a month. Staff is great and evwrybody staying here is staying long term so there is such a strong family vibe in the hostel. Wednesday family dinners and bottomless brunches are the best activities of the hostel to get to know everybody and have a lot fun!

This place seriously sucks you in. It has the best atmosphere of any hostel I’ve ever stayed at. They make sure to keep the culture here inclusive and friendly. I’ve been here since the beginning of August and plan on staying until I’m finished with my time in Melbourne. If you’re looking to stay somewhere long term and form a little backpacker community then this is the place to be.

Sociable and friendly house share close to public transport links. Space is a little limited (especially in the dorms), though each resident is given dry and cold food storage space. Staff are very welcoming and inclusive, though the business and amount of people staying mean that the facilities can often get quite dirty. Recommended, though principally for longer term travellers.

I truly, genuinely cannot understand the outstanding reviews for this hostel. I booked here for the exact reasons covered in these reviews and was severely let down by the false hope these reviews create. The hostel is not clean, the particular room I stayed in was disgusting. Bins never emptied, peoples stuff thrown all over the place and allocated storage either not used or not shared fairly. It also smelt unholy. Most staff not particularly friendly. Would not recommend
