Ronald was a great host. He took care of me taking care of reservations and driving me to the ferry to Roatan and bus station. Especially at 430 in the morning . The hostel is in a safe area with kind people working there. The hospitality that Gerald gave to me was second to none. Showing me around the city and local hot spots. I very much recommend this hostel to anybody traveling in Honduras or on a layover to Roatan!

Can’t thank Ronald enough for an an amazing experience in La Ceiba! He provided a personalized experience and took us on hikes through the jungle, whitewater rafting on the Cangrejal, hot springs and zip lining above Sambo Creek. Highly recommend staying here and experiencing all La Ceiba has to offer!

Enjoyed my stay here for a few nights. Low season so not many others around but to be expected. Breakfast fine, location good, the host was a good laugh and it was value for money at £5 a night.

Was only there for one night as a stop over for Utila, it was very run down and not clean. Would not recommend it.

Stayed here one night before getting the ferry to Utila. Felt very safe in the neighbourhood, able to go for a drink at the local bar down the road without any hassle. Breakfast is just a plate of watermelon and coffee so was very hungry by the time I reached Utila. Also the shuttle that was organised for us to get to the ferry was the most unsafe I have felt, the driver was still drunk from the night before and was driving like a maniac almost knocked 2 people of their bikes.

When I booked this hostel, I booked a private room. When I arrived, I paid my owing for my private room but was brought to a dorm room. When I brought this up with the host, she told me she didn’t know and she wouldn’t give me the extra money back that I had paid for the private room. the dorm room was full of flies, there was a fitted sheet in each bed but it didn’t have anything to cover yourself with. There were stains, what looked like blood stains, all over the sheets.

A lot of ants in the room. BLOOD stains on the bed sheets. I think I saw a cockroach but not sure. Very unclean the breakfast was more of a snack than breakfast, only a bowl of fruit. However great central location.

My experience wasn’t good at all. Overpriced for what you get! Very dirty (towels, room, sheets, dog poop everywhere from their dog every morning). Then when I would tell them their dog pooped everywhere on the balcony, they’d let it continue sitting for hours before it would get cleaned! Breakfast was only served once, but was suppose to be included every day. Friendly staff but that’s it! The location isn’t good. Everything is run down. Beds u comfortable and the list goes on and on.

I felt unsafe the whole time I was there. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, the breakfast sad, the manager untrustworthy. When he arranged transportation to the airport in a luxury van with air it magically turned into a friend's taxi. We traveled to a garage to to transfer to the taxi. I forgot my phone in the car. When we went back to get it we were robbed at gun point. This was in early January. Looking back my gut says it was staged. I never gave them my phone.
