It is an amazing hostel with a swimming pool!!! People and staff are friendly and you can have fresh lemons from the trees. Make sure you get a gin on your way to this place.

Second time at Lemon Garden, a great hostel with very good value for money. Lot of places inside and outside to relax, the rooms are comfortable and the kitchen, albeit small, possess all the things you will need to cook. The staff is very helpful and cheerful, including but not limited to Raphaelle. I wish they were shelfs for the top bunks to place our charging phone or glasses safely, and perhaps the kitchen/toilets could use a little cleanup more often, but overall I recommend this hostel!

This hostel was very comfortable. It had descent and clean facilities, very hospitable staff members, and relatively close walking distance from all the major attractions. This was a very chill place and not very noisy at all— you’ll get a good night’s rest.

Loved it here! Can't beat hanging out by the pool with a cold drink with friends. The dinners are great, and the staff is friendly. We loved the free coffee, tea, and sangria.

Nice hostel with beautiful places inside and outside. The 4beds dorm room that i choose was satisfying. Clean and spacious, with big lockers for each person. Big kitchen that you can prepare your meal and cosy common space. Extra advantage is the pool and the garden!! A little bit far from the city center by walking but very close to beautiful Plaza de Espana

Lemon Garden was a unique little spot. The owner shows up every morning and staff is friendly. The free sangria is a nice touch.

Location is ok, close to Plaza de Espana but a bit of walk to the other sites. Rooms and bathroom are clean. Didn't get to use the pool but I bet it is refreshing on a hot day. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Paid top $ for the nights I stayed coz it was Spain's holiday weekend. :(

    Very Good

    12 Oct 2019
Nice little hostel with really good volunteers, especially Ollie from Paris. Only downsides are the fact that there is one female toilet for the whole lower level (though there are 2 showers) and the mosquitos. We were absolutely eaten alive! The hostel is a little far away from the main city, but we were happy to walk a bit further. They also charged us over double the price on Saturday JUST because it was a weekend. Pretty poor form, especially for a budget accommodation.

Our first night the plugs in the room were falling out and almost electrocuted us. Thankfully the front desk worker was prompt on fixing it for the remainder of our stay. There was little to no atmosphere, so I wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers. The men kept using the women’s washroom and leaving their beard hair all over the sink. The walk to city center was at least 25 min so be prepared for walking. The wifi doesn’t work in the rooms, only outside and the common areas. The beds are hard.

There’s a huge sense of entitlement/hostility from the staff was told by one of the volunteers she was not being paid therefore she didn’t have to smile or be gracious. Very disrespectful and constricted environment, not listening was their best skill, never recommend or going back to this place.
