Hostelworld says

Lilla Brunn Hostel is in a charming house in the north city centre of Stockholm, in 'a lively area with tons of bars', as described by one Hostelworld guest. Our users often cite their appreciation for the 'safe and comfortable' and 'nice and calm' atmosphere of this hostel, as well as the 'friendly and helpful' staff. Security is tight at this hostel, with both security codes and key cards, while the hostel also features a spacious and well-equipped cellar kitchen. We particularly like the old stone staircase, which adds a nice rustic touch of character.

I highly recommend Lilla Brunn! The staff are friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a 4 dorm female only room, it was clean and comfortable. They have lockers in the room that you can put your valuables, you should bring your own lock or you can purchase one from them for around 50 sek. There is a kitchen that you can prepare your own meals with plenty of space to do so. I was happy with my 6 day stay and the location couldn't be better with close proximity to the metro and landmarks!

I had a nice stay. Everything was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was super nice. The only negative things was that the house is quite old, so it can get quite loud because you can hear when the neighbors are walking or opening and closing doors.

A lovely place with a good location and friendly staff. (A note about accessibility: As this is an old house, the stairs won't be accessible for everyone, and especially the kitchen in the basement is accessed by veeery steep stairs. This wasn't a problem for us at all, but it might be for others.)

The bunk beds are very noisy and you can't sleep well while the guests drinking alkohol inside the shared room . The kitchen is in the basement and very scary.

Lovely comfy hostel close to the city centre. Unfortunately, when I arrived my booking for a mixed dorm had been automatically upgraded to a full female dorm, without my consent. The room I stayed in was occupied by ‘staff helpers’ who appeared to have been living there for a long time. They were rude and unfriendly, marring the otherwise great experience I had with the other occupants of the hostel and the staff itself.

Daniela was helpful and the place was overall good. When I made the booking however, I had searched for an accommodation for two guests( since my wife was accompanying me)- and paid in advance for a private single room. I had to pay like 20 Euros extra in the property because I was told that only 1 guest was permitted. They should fix this error with their filters so future guest do not encounter the same problem!

Great staff. Location not very central. Keep the extra linen and towel price in mind before you book, it is too much for budget travellers.

Stayed there for two nights. There is only one toilet and one shower for each floor, which I felt was to little. The breakfast was alright, nothing fancy. The worst part we're the bed bugs. I found one in my bed the day of departure and now I brought them with me to the place where I'm staying. I wouldn't stay there again

Hiding fees : 7€ for beds sheets. It's unacceptable, that was more than 1/3 of the total price we paid. Moreover the staff manager wasn't friendly at all. We didn't feel welcome, we're just money for them. The room was little for 6 people, even in 8 beds rooms I did before we had more space. The breakfast was 7€, if you booked on this website, unlimited one but everything is cheap and don't taste really good. I don't recommend it unless you don't have other options.

Lilla Brunn Hostel says

We offer a lot of little extras to our guests and I think that makes all the difference. For instance, we've got free Wi-Fi, free coffee, tea and pasta in the kitchen, plus hair dryers and irons can be borrowed from reception. We also offer bike rental - we've got a number of Swedish army-type bikes for rent - the perfect way to explore Stockholm.
I think our location in Vasastan gives the guests a peek of local Stockholm as many of the city's best restaurants, shops and galleries are in Vasastan, away from the main tourist attractions. The famous city library Stadsbiblioteket is just a block away and Drottninggatan shopping street starts only 10 minutes' walk from here. I usually tell our guests to visit the restaurant Tranan; it's a good place to get a taste of Swedish food, with its genuine character and local clients. Later in the evening the bar on the basement floor is a waterhole for locals and a nice place to have a drink. The many small galleries around Vasastan are also worth visiting.
I'd say most of our guests are aged 25 and up. This certainly isn't a party hostel but it's great for meeting other people and relaxing after spending time in Stockholm. Peter, Owner/Manager
