Awesome time good group of people working at the hostel who are all super friendly. Good kitchen and awesome free breakfast. Noisy in the morning due to construction beside but ear plugs are offered and obviously this is temporary and out of the hostels control. Still an amazing place to stay! Recommend it for sure!

One of the best places I stayed in Lisbon(& this is my 3rd time)! The place doesn't look like much at 1st but the staff members are superstars!!! Not one of them isn't awesome, friendly & helpful. They even turned a blind eye when they knew that on my last night I had no place to stay & gave me a couch to sleep on for a few hours! The location is good & they have organized walks/tours that got me to meet great people to hang out with during my trip. Will definitely stay there again.

This hostel made my entire trip to Lisbon even better than I expected mainly because of the staff and the atmosphere they create. They make sure you’re taken care of and assist you in every way they can. Special shoutout to Raquel, Sara, David and most of all, to the man of the house, João who always has this nice, warm smile on his face. Plus, he’ll for sure remember your name! If you want to have a good time, this hostel is the place to be cause they know how to have a good time! 😉

This was my FAVORITE hostel. The hostel itself is a little run down, but the people were amazing. It felt almost like a house! Not the cleanest, but for what you're paying, definitely the most worth. Breakfast included. Great living room area where we all ate together and drank before going out. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

A lovely little place with the most friendly staff!! They are always smiling and happy to see you! We felt very very welcomed and because we arrived early in the morning they were happy to store our bags and let us use the facilities while waiting for check in! The walking tour was great as well! The atmosphere was good, only issue was leaving the window open at night made it quite noisy when people were going by so tricky to sleep if you don’t have earplugs! Overall a lovely place to stay!

Breakfast was good - lots of food and usually available earlier too. Lockers kept opening even when locked. The location was kind of out of the way and more difficult to get to. Computers were fast, wifi was reliable.

For the most part, Lisbon Old Town Hostel was a good hostel in the middle of Lisbon. However, the atmosphere in the dorm was terrible; one of the people in my dorm snorted cocaine in the room, and it was very loud on a weekend night. I felt extremely uncomfortable and it detracted from my otherwise satisfactory stay.

Lisbon Old Town Hostel says

We have a lot of extras here, like big doses of sympathy, coziness and friendship! Though for us these are not really extras... Everything in our hostel is at the disposal of our guests. We have three lovely common rooms with couches, cushions, puffs, TV, DVDs, CDs, books, computers, a guitar and brain teasers. Our kitchen is like a mom\'s kitchen, with all the tools that one needs to cook. So there is no excuse to spoil the dish. ;) From the printer to painkillers, our guests really have access to everything! We give maps and the best tips for all the areas in and around Lisbon and we are always up for looking up for some extra information. Our breakfast lasts the whoooole day and sometimes we organise delicious dinners for the guests!
But what really puts us ahead is the staff. We're not working for the clients of the hostel - we're receiving friends into our home! We are a family, and the guests easily feel it and make part of it. When people say we go beyond ourselves to help them, it\'s truly like that. If they have a problem, from the moment we know it it becomes our problem too, and we will do absolutely everything we can to fix it. Besides, we know Lisbon like the palm of our hands and our clients benefit from it a lot. And we don't just recommend places to go - we go there together!
The houses in the centre of Lisbon are old and not prepared to receive people with some kinds of disabilities but we've managed to create an infrastucture prepared to receive people who use a wheelchair and we would do anything to make everyone\'s stay memorable.
