Not a terrible hostel by any means but there were a lot of very specific rules and a lot of aggressive signs everywhere telling guests what they are not allowed to go do. The owner seemed angry at us when we arrived slightly early to check in when the bus dropped us off. The staff seemed to hover around all the time telling people how to cook and do things. Just didnt provide for a very relaxed atmosphere.

Location is good and owner was nice and friendly. One negative would have to be all the added costs, if you need to stay later or store luggage you have to pay.. which is the first we've seen in any hostel we've stayed in! Overall a good stay with great kitchen facilities and free wifi is always a plus (a huge 5GB for 2 nights).

There was one staff member who didn't give you space. Even if I had my earphones in and was watching something, she would come and force a conversation. She also shared things with many of us which was just too personal. She would also talk to everyone quite rude, especially if you did something wrong in the kitchen. A girl had the oven door shut whilst grilling and this lady spoke to her condescendingly in front of everyone. One guest said he felt he could relax when she had a day off.

I won't stay at this hostel again. For the same money you can stay other with breakfast included. You can't arrive before 1pm, the hostel is closed. You must check out the hostel at 10am, if you want to leave your backpack a few hours you have to pay.

Too expensive for what they are offering. Staff is apathetic except one guy. Don't try to find a job through them...waste of your time.

Two words: BED BUGS I woke up the next morning with about 20 bites on my hands, legs and feet, super itchy and not pleasant. Apart from that the rooms are tiny, they are trying to squeeze as many people in as possible. It smells like sweat and it just doesn’t feel clean or welcoming. Noisy at night and doors are always open. Also hardly any showers for the amount of people there and they looked unclean. Wouldn’t stay again.

    - Management breathes down your neck. - The rules here are somewhat compared to a jail, only I imagine the hospitality would be better there. - Lights go out at 10, as does the ability to go on to the deck for a cigarette, mostly just to escape the stench. - The rooms smell like the collective ball sweat of an entire football team, post game, isolated into a tight, barely ventilated room. - The sugar was fossilised. On the bright side there was a good kebab/shisha place across the road 👍

We read the other comments on here and thought that it wouldn’t be that bad, however after staying only two nights we realised that they were all inaccurate. Members of staff who insists on standing in the middle of the tiny kitchen/ lounge area makes for a very unpleasant experience. There is no atmosphere at all and the WiFi, and I quote from the owner, “doesn’t work with iPhones”. Location is good though.
