The staff not friendly . Breakfast is great. Our private double room was very big and comfy. The location is perfect, close to the market but no noise.

    Very Good

You get what you pay for, not much you can expect for £4 a night. It wasn’t super clean but fine if you only need a bed for one night, wouldn’t recommend a long stay here but it was fine.

Uncomfortable and VERY dirty room and ensuite facilities (mind you we are not a prince and princess). Be ready for a toilet/shower that is so slim that you can barely spread your cheeks to poop. We were unimpressed, after a month in SE Asia. Left a day early, because no one should spend more than a night here, unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. Extended family lives in the hotel, and they are extremely noisy. There were a lot of weird men hanging around, and my wife was uncomfortable.

Very average, nothing special. Rooms were huge and had no ensuite bathrooms so many, many people had to share a few sinks, toilet stalls, and shower stalls. This hostel desperately needs gender divided rooms or at least bathrooms. Room doors were never locked, so security might be an issue. Beds did have an outlet and a light and an under-bed locker. Breakfast was included and was basic but good. The description says that credit cards are accepted but they were not. The wifi worked in the rooms.

Not a backpackers hostel at all. I was in a room full of men that where obviously no backpackers. Would not recommend it to women solo travelers. For one night ok because it’s central but no options to meet people. The shower and restrooms are in a bad condition.

I booked a place in an 8 bed dorm at Lucky Backpackers. Got put in a 16 bed dorm with only creepy old men. Not good for a young solo girl. One got up and walked around naked. Room stank of sweat and had no ventilation. The two fans ran all night and were as loud as aeroplanes. The staff are not helpful at all. Breakfast is very small and they manage to make eggs on toast taste bad. Bathrooms grotty and most shower cubicles do not have hooks. Beds uncomfortable. This hostel is your last resort.
