We stayed at Lus Mor for one night and wish we had booked in a week - amazingly beautiful location (you do need a car - no transit to Lus Mor) in the country - near Roundwood (great coffee stop there). The dinner for 10 Euro was a great value and tasty/healthy. I had the breakfast for 4 Euro, and you would be hard pressed to find a better breakfast for 20 Euro anywhere in Ireland that would be comparable. Lus Mor is now one of our top hostels/B&Bs - the staff are superb - we highly recommend.

Overwhelmingly good value for money - all staff went above and beyond, the location was great, the rooms were nice, and the cleanliness top notch. We all talked about how we wish we could have stayed there longer. We were worried about noise, but once in the rooms it was fine. More bathrooms upstairs would have been nice for the private room, but the family room was amazing. All food was also amazing and so nice to be able to come back to something so delicious and filling.

I had a great stay at Lus Mor! Rebecca and her staff were so welcoming and nice to hang out with. She makes delicious freshly cooked meals for dinner and the place is comfy and homey! I will definitely return and stay for a longer time!

This was by far the most relaxing stay at a hostel I’ve ever had! Everyone is incredibly nice, and James and Rebecca are quick to offer suggestions or even rides to the bus or to hikes. It is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. The food is also really good - there’s a few options for dinner and then breakfast is bread and jam with the option of including an Irish breakfast. And the whole place is super clean. LOVED IT!! I cannot wait to go back.

Charming place. Really enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly, nice comfortable place to back to after long day of hiking. Place is near all hiking trails. Nice breakfast, ability to purchase a hot cooked dinner which was nice. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

After a dozen stays in hostels around Ireland, this one was the best one. Quiet, super clean, amazing relaxing atmosphere, better free breakfast than in any other place. Only details: the 8:30am breakfast is a little late for hikers walking the Dingle way. Also, the beauty of this place is its remote location, so you need a car or be prepared to walk!

I have been to loads of places but no place stand out like Lus Mór and none has ever won my heart like it. Here is my experience, I got a free upgrade to a double bed for my second night. This is something you do not always receive. The rooms were very clean and almost every part of the house felt like home. Family-friendly and quiet. You even have a chance to pet a pony. They also go as far as giving you a few tips about places to visit and all.
