The hostel was well run and clean. Breakfast was included in the stay and was the perfect start to a day of exploration around Lucerne. The hostel also provided a local bus ticket to cover all four of us as part of our reservation, but the hostel is less than a half mile walk to the city center and lake and we only needed to use the bus once to get back from Mount Pilatus. Highly recommend.

It was such an amazing place to stay! I wasn’t pleasantly surprised and they had great accommodations. For the price and the service it was quite a treat. The only thing I’d wish was some more light from the bus stop to the Hostel, but that is not the hostels job! Otherwise it was a great stay and I highly recommend to someone trying out Switzerland and finding a decent place to stay

Big benefit to this hostel is the inclusive public transit pass in Luzern for during your stay and the day you check out. It included access to the WiFi in the old town too. Very short walking distance from bus stops to hostel. The hostel itself is generic. When I stayed there it was fall break, groups of loud children where the only other guests I saw. Door to room had to be slammed shut to close. No toilet or sink in shared room. Lockers in room require 2 Franc deposit. Helpful staff.

Cleanest hostel I have ever been to, with great beds and bathrooms. The individual sockets worked, but they were loose, so we couldn't charge our phones. There is no kitchen, so you rely on Swiss food prices. The breakfast was excellent and had a lot of variety. They provide lockers before and after check in. The lady at the reception was kind and went the extra mile to ensure our trip was nice. A bit pricy for the distance, but amazing lake view, and they help you with free buses to the city.

Everything is ok, the hostel is not too far from the city center, just take bus 19 and a little more walk. The thing I like the most is breakfast!

    Very Good

The hostel was fine for my two night stay, but was a little far away from everything and the facilities were average - the lack of kitchen is annoying and the dining hall was only open during the breakfast/dinner they provided. The free breakfast was a great selection, way more interesting than most hostel breakfasts which is a bonus. Bedrooms were fine, but you had to have a 2 franc deposit for the lockers - would prefer they let you use your own key. I

Security: Reception not beside entrance Location: Too far from town Staff: Lady argued with my friend & another guest that they had English Breakfast Tea, but didn't Atmosphere: None Cleanliness: Rubbish under mattress and on top of lockers Value for money: Only breakfast good Facilities: No kitchen to self-cater, one microwave, kettle & small fridge, so queues to use them. Told to get water from sink in toilet/locker room! Lounge small & boring. To improve: Visit Backpackers Bern & Interlaken

Service was terrible. Had to ask for everything as things were not made easy. No information regarding any sites to see except for the few sheets they have pinned to the board. Tourists are allowed a free metro pass for the day which we weren’t told about until the day we left from the info place at the train station. Extremely overpriced for what it’s worth.
