Noisy area but close to metro and within easy walking distance to places of interest. Contacted Reception to get them to turn off the radiator since it was hot weather in Madrid but it stayed on.....way too hot in the room for a good sleep. Decent breakfast next door.

BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL. They advertise that you can rent one for 1,50€ but when my friend and I went to rent them, they demanded 5€ each for a deposit. We paid 13€ for two cheap towels with promise that 10€ would be reimbursed when we return the towels. At check out, the receptionist refused to reimburse us anything, saying her coworker didn’t note the file right. They basically stole 10€ from us for crap towels and were completely unapologetic for the incident. Left our trip on an awful note.

Bit of a boring hostel. Would recommend because of the prime location.

Stayed in a 6 bed female dorm. Room is very small, expected for the very low price we paid. Julia on the front desk was quick to not help us if she didn't understand us. needed help with our boarding pass, she was no helpful at all. Wouldn't allow us to give her our details so she can use the printer for our boarding passes, pretended she didn't get our emails. She made us feel very stressed and we left annoyed due to her being unhelpful I would stay again. The hostel was good. Good location

Lacking a general buzz. Lots of people just stay in their beds all day.

The staff was very kind and the location was great, but the hostel itself was pretty awful. The beds were uncomfortable, the shower only had cold water and the rooms were kind of smelly. Would not stay again.

This hostel has a serious problem: It doesn't have the organisation required to accommodate so many people. We arrived one hour before the check-in time (2 p.m.) and there were already about 15 people waiting in the lobby. The lockers were all full and cost 5€! There was only one person at the reception, so we couldn't check-in until 4 p.m. It was not organised (no waiting list, ticket system or queue), which led to a very hostile atmosphere, since everybody had to fight his place in the order.

The hostel has a great location, but everything else is quite problematic: - The rooms and the common areas are quite dirty - Some of the lockers are broken - No proper duvets are provided - only a sheet with an old blanket, which is not hygienic and not warm enough - There are no reading lights - The breakfast is very weak - basically only toast, jam, and cereals - In my room, the heater made a loud noise all the time - pretty annoying when you want to sleep I paid way too much for this...

The hostel is pretty big, with many floors of many rooms. There isn't really a "common room" to meet other people in, rather a side room off the lobby with a couple of tables and lockers. The staff was nice and accommodating, but seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Our room was fine - very bare bones. The bathroom seemed clean and the water was hot, but it was also very basic. Breakfast was VERY plain (toast, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice) and got really old after three days of it.
