The team working here were so extremely helpful. They went above and beyond after I lost my phone helping me navigate the city and enjoy my time in São Paulo. What a great place to stay!

All the staff here were so friendly and helpful and were up for a chat at any time. Breakfast was very simple but still delicious. The rooms were clean and the only complaint I have was about the “locker” drawers being under our bunk. You had to pull them ALL the way out to open them which meant all the way to the bunk next to us, and they were SO LOUD. Otherwise, great place and location!

Very close to the paulista ave. Great value for money. The girl at reception (forgot her name) was so helpful. We arrived very early in the morning and she got us into a room straight away which was so nice to have a shower after an overnight bus. Breakfast was your standard south american brekky but still nice all the same. They even let us chill in the garden after checkout while waiting for our afternoon bus.

We booked a private room for myself and my partner for 2 nights. The room was clean and had a TV which we were very grateful for as we got sick. There were three showers and three toilets which was plenty. The drinking water and breakfast/kitchen area were in a separate building up the road which was a little annoying. There wasn't a huge amount of socializing, it felt more like a hotel to me in the private room area. This was fine for us, but maybe not for a solo traveller. Would stay again.

The hostel is well located next to Paulista avenue. It’s a simple hostel with a breakfast. It’s not really clean, and not a welcoming place to meet some other traveler. It’s fine if you’re just staying for few nights and already know São Paulo

We had a double room in the new annex. It was very small (not much bigger than the double bed) and with only an internal window into a hallway, though it was clean. The main hostel building has a little reception area, a decently-provisioned kitchen and a little outside seating area. There is not much atmosphere in the hostel, probably because there isn't much space to sit and meet people. The hostel is about 10 minutes walk from a metro station. We thought it was pretty expensive overall.

Someone in my room had their phone stolen of their bed while sleeping. Staff were very clear that they don't take responsibility for that. It does happen. I slept with phone and wallet in my pockets. They have lockers down stairs but anyone can enter rooms. Some of the bathroom doors were almost impossible to lock especially upstairs bathroom. HOPEFULLY THEY FIX IT. In my room fan didn't reach the beds on my side. Very hot at night. nice to have some trees in courtyard.

This hostel is in an excellent location close to paulista ave and 10mins from the metro. We stayed in a private room (separate building 2 doors down) which was great, the facilities are being refurbed so v nice. Our stay was hampered by a large family with noisy children who had little consideration for other guests. It’s not the vibe we were expecting from São Paulo. The hostel could also benefit from more communal areas in the main house for breakfast and in the evenings etc.

Location was great close to Paulista and friendly staff but there was no atmosphere in the hostel, there’s no communal area apart from the small garden. The 9 bed dorm we stayed in had very rickety triple bunk beds which were hard to get in and out of, there were no lockers in the room (just in the hallway downstairs) and there was no a/c, just a really loud fan. One of us also got bed bug bites. There is also a bar advertised, but that actually just means some beers in a fridge in reception.
