Mango Hostel was great experience and we had everything we wanted and more. Spacious rooms ( hot water was all the time during our stay). Good storage system! If the free breakfast doesn't please you, ( fresh bread rolls with ham and cheese, jam and juice shakes then additional Tomas’s cafe will make you a perfect cup of coffee. For sundowners, BBQ, drinks or just a fab company go to the Mango bar upstairs. Great local vibe and will give you many good advises what to do around Arequipa.

Beatiful building with nice rooms and common areas! The rooftop is a great place to hang out and watch the sunset with a beer. The stuff is helpful and super nice day and night. It's located 1 min away from the plaza so you can reach everything in a few minutes. Great calm stay in a beautiful hostel!

Enjoyed my stay at Mango. Showers are hot and powerful - just what you need after the Colca Canyon trek. The free breakfast buffet is decent IMO (bread, ham/cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juice, hot tea / coffee). Great value for a private room w/bathroom.

    Very Good

Nice enough. Clean rooms but not a lot of space for luggage and the siding door on the bathroom doesn’t make it feel very private. The coffee shop is a good feature and the coffee there is a lot better than the coffee at breakfast. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were in Arequipa and this hostel is really not designed for wet weather - it’s impossible to move around without getting rained on - shame because the rooftop area could be great on a dry day. Location great-we’d stay again.

Cheap dormitory beds. Nice included breakfast, but you don't get any of you leave before 7am, bummer. Badroom was so discusting. Hair everywhere, sinks with disgusting things in en where always was some guilty, water in, filthy shower, s**t in toilets :-/ But overall nice, cheap stay. Not much of a vibe in there though. Everyone does kind of his own thing.

This place is in a great location for the main square and in the day time has great places to chill - big balcony etc and its all set around walkways that are out door which is lovely. Nice mountain views too. It's definitely a good shout if youre up for a no frills vibe. It did the basics but it's not as homely as it might be - a little bit lacking in nice areas to hang in the evening.
