This is a wonderful, affordable lodge in Bahir Dar made even more lovely by the wonderful staff. Nati went out of his way to accommodate us and is a wonderful source of knowledge for travellers in Ethiopia. He can help arrange tours and meals in and around Bahir Dar, Our group were very comfortable and would highly recommend!

The hostel is simple but clean and very enjoyable. Nati was very helpful organizing our visit to Bahir Dahr. The location is perfect, not far from the centre but very quiet.

Great hostel (WiFi, hot water, rooms, etc) but the best part is Nati and the tours he organizes. I booked Bahir Dar, Simien Mtns, and Danakil through him, and everything was excellent. He’s known throughout the ethiopian tourism sector, and I think the prices were fair. He checked up on me at every stop, and I would definitely recommend going through Nati to get the most out of your trip.

Awesome place for backpackers in Bahir Dar! Only a short walk from the lakeside, the hot water was consistent, shared toilets were clean, and the wifi was some of the best I've had in Ethiopia (I've lived her for a year now with Peace Corps). All the staff are friendly and helpful!

Very relaxing environment and easy to meet other travelers. The first room I was given was filled with misquitos under the pillow - they just swarmed out - and although there is a mosquito net over the bed, if they are coming from under the pillow then they'll be trapped inside with me; So i requested to change. The new room was great and it was very easy to switch, they gave me zero problems. The bathrooms are very basic,, but there is hot water available and also WiFi worked well.

Nati is amazing and will take care of whatever you need. Beds are comfortable and the lodge is close to the Tana River and to traditional restaurants. Will definitely return.

The staff is pretty nice and you can easily arrange tours there. The rooms as very basic but that's fine. The place feels pretty secure and you can easily chill and meet other travelers. The only crappy part is there is just two bathrooms that aren't the best. Lot of water on the ground and one is a squat toilet.
