The hostel is in a great location. Within about 5 minutes you are at the train station and in about 10 minutes you are in the old town. Supermarkets and restaurants in the vicinity.

    Very Good

    24 Apr 2019
The day I was arriving, I was informed that I have been moved to another hostel called Yellow Hostel. It was really crowdy and they never had enough breakfast for all. It would always finish early. The staffs were not bothered about it when I asked about the breakfast. There were some people in the dorm who lived there. There are definitely better hostels than this for the same price.

It seemed there was a problem with website and when I arrived, the hostel receptionist told me my room wasn't available in the end. I didn't like this lack of organization, but in the end they could manage to put me on a private room. The room was not either very clean when I arrived. As good points, the hostel as a good location, laundry service and has a good private room price.

As the signs in the bathroom mention, the low price of hostel reflect the hostel facilities so we can't complain. It's not 5* luxury but it is clean and very good location to everything. We would recommend paying extra for a private room as dorms are very cramped with high three-story bunks with no rails and nowhere to but baggage.

The staff is really nice and tries their best to make you have a good stay. But the general quality of the hostel isnt great, the bathrooms arent really good, so is the kitchen. The location is allright, so if you want a cheap hostel and dont care so much about cleanliness you can go there.

I booked an entire dorm, they tried to separate us instead of having the room prepared for us. We had to wait for the staff to move people around so we could be in the same room. The room that they put us in to wait was hazardous. The ladder for the top bunks we’re coming unscrewed. Once we had our room it was fine but the kitchen/ bathroom/ shower room was generally dirty/horrible smell. We left because we found bed bugs. There was one guy would was a great staff but overall it wasn’t worth it

It seems that this place is mostly used for hosting builders and other workers, who temporary work in Riga. It is pretty cheap, but you don't get much value- the kitchen is small and the rooms are not very appealing. There are probably places much better than this one. The only good thing is location, it is in the city center.

The rooms are very smelly full of alcoholic and drug addicted people. Middle of night they start fighting. After 12night there will be no staff in the hostel and the reception. Any problems with the alcoholic people you have to sort it out yourself very bad experience

First up, it was hard to find with only a very small sign saying "Hostel". The staff were nice initially, but later when we checked in, some of our beds weren't ready. The staff were a bit gruff and were never in the reception. The room had a consistent on/off buzz noise that kept everyone up at night. On the plus side: for 5€ a night, you can't expect much. There was a free breakfast and they let us leave our bags at the reception.

Please put a sign in the street announcing the Hostel's name. It was hard to find it. It was also hard to identify staff from guests. You can't pay by card and it is poorly organized. The heating made a lot of noise in the room. Good thing: they let us leave our bags there while we were visiting the city.
