Overview

Right in the colourful neighbourhood of Sants, Meeting Point Hostels in Barcelona combines laid-back Spanish vibes with a Scandi aesthetic. Sit out on one of the sun terrace’s outdoor daybeds or bistro-style tables, or head down to the basement chill-out area to put your feet up. The whole building has air con, so you'll look forward to getting back to us after a hot day in the glorious sunshine. We also have an elevator so you can skip the stairs with your heavy bags, and we're wheelchair friendly.

Location

Close to L1/L3/L5 metro lines and Sants train station, we're only a 10-minute train journey to the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla. If you have tickets to see Barcelona FC, you’ll be able to walk to Camp Nou in just over 20 minutes, while Gaudi-heavy sights like La Pedrera, Sagrada Família cathedral and Casa Batlló are a 20-minute metro ride away. Coming from Barcelona-El Prat Airport? Jump on the RENFE train and you’ll be with us in just over 20 minutes.

Rooms and Dorms

We have small mixed and female-only dorms, all with free bed linen, reading lights, a small shelf and individual power sockets. Wash off the day in your private en-suite, or ask us to adapt our twin room for you if you're travelling with reduced mobility. All beds come with personal lockers secured with key-cards, so you don’t need to bring along a clunky padlock. Our fave tip: book a dorm with a Juliet-style balcony for romantic views over the bustling Barcelona streets.

Extras and activities

With a microwave, stovetop, oven and everything else you need to rustle up a homecooked meal, our shared kitchen would fit right in at a fancy private home! Visit the entertainment area downstairs to sink into a leather sofa and watch some satellite TV, catch up on emails on the guest computers or play a board game with fellow guests. You can use the self-service laundry for a small surcharge, too.

This hostel feels like a hotel, very close to the Sants train station and plenty of things to do nearby. Highly recommend.

I really liked the hostel. All he staff I had contact with was super friendly, the environment is really nice and the infrastructure was really worth it. It is possible to cook your own meals and that helps a lot. As things I would improve, the individual lights in the beds were not good and the bathroom lights are with movement sensor, it would work better if all of them had switchers). The check out is at 11am and it would help a lot if it was at 12pm

    Fabulous

I needed a place to stay overnight close to the train station. This was an excellent choice. It is a modern hostel. My dorm room was small for 3x2 bunk beds. The kitchen was a small space but fully functional. The common area was an outdoor patio. This is a modern hostel for travelers seeking a place to sleep and shower and not a social scene with fellow travelers. I would return to this hostel if I needed a place to stay near the bus or train station for the night.

    Fabulous

Nice place, friendly helpful staff, nice common kitchen but not clean enough. Also the dorm temperature was hot. I asked in reception for the aircon to be turned on, which they did gracefully, then I asked people in the room to close the window, (she only had direct access to the handle) which was only a tiny bit open but might stop the aircon from working. So a bit complicated. Later in the night the aircon was turned off. Luckily the room was still cool.

Staff are real nice and welcoming. I love the fact they give you a key card for the rooms which also work as a key for your locker. Only problem I had was the restroom was a bit dirty but it wasn’t bad.

The location is fine ..but the floor was dirty and the blankets had stains... It recommended to use covers for the blankets and then wash them after each guest visit The head table next to the bed was dirty also.

This is the perfect hostel for a one night stay to be close to Sants station, some good restaurants around but a little far removed from the heart of Barcelona. Rooms are kind of small but everything was clean and had what you needed

This hostel is not great, the staff could not even recommend a good local bar. There is no alcohol allowed in the hostel, so don't expect to have a glass of wine with your meal. They also charged me 35E to leave my bag for a week even though I was coming back to the hostel. O.K. for one nite if you want to be near the station, but there are much better hostel nearer the centre.
