I have traveled all over the world and by far this is the best hostel! The Staff was very friendly and fun, my bed had a big locker for my backpack, and a safe box to leave my cell phone charging, and a persoanl light over my bed. breakfast was delicious, very clean and spacious bathrooms and the best location just one step away from the main temple, the subway, everything. But the best thing was the view of the terrace. JUST PERFECT! EL MEJOR HOSTAL DONDE ME HE QUEDADO EN LA VIDA!!!

It is a really nice hostel. I will stay here the next time I visit Mexico City and I recommend it for those who have plans to do near the Zocalo, however, I think that the hostel doesn’t really have this social atmosphere and activities with the travelers that are staying there.

It’s a great location you are in the center of everything but it’s not a place to meet people no common area. The showers and toilets are clean but most don’t have locks. The WiFi is good throughout the building and they have a nice rooftop terrace. If you’re gonna spend the same money stay somewhere else

Nice location on the Zocalo. Has a rooftop bar but pretty much didn’t see it open in the evening so everyone bought their own booze which wasn’t a bad thing. Breakfast was fine. Staff were fine and security was good.

A great stay with wonderful staff happy to help on anything. We booked a private room and it was nice but right next to the kitchen area so could be loud at times on the weekend nights. There is a rooftop bar and the floors are pretty open so it can be loud with lots of energetic folks coming and going. Didn’t detract from our experience but keep in mind if you’re looking for a deep and sound sleep. Would love to see better pillows and coverings over the lighting fixtures in the private rooms.

Upon arrival staff tried to overcharge the price of the booking, some of which had already prepaid. Another member of staff also tried to charge us 200 pesos for the free breakfast, so be wary of this. When we asked for sheets and pillowcases we were told there were no clean ones. The three tier bunkbeds made the rooms extremely tight with poor ventilation. Two of our group were also bitten by bedbugs.
